Majestic Oaks Park, Lake Ozark, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Positives--swimming pool, wide pull thru full hook up site

In need of updating--restrooms and showers. Our pull thru site was very spacious with nicely placed sewer, electric and cable hookups. The sites and roads are gravel. We found the park to be very peaceful with some road noise. Many of the sites are occupied by seasonal campers. So early in the week, there were very few people around. We really enjoyed the pool on the very hot July days!! The restrooms and showers are in need of updating but are clean. The larger shower house has a very strange shower configuration. We camped at Majestic Oaks Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cape Kiwanda RV Resort, Pacific City, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Great location: just across road from beach! It was a very easy walk to the beach. We drove to the beach one night to have a campfire: wow! Nice store that serves Tillamook ice cream: yum! We wished the indoor pool would have stayed open later. It was closed by the time we came back from exploring the area. Our site was right inside the entrance, right next to the fish cleaning building and dumpster but there wasn't any extra noise or smell. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Cape Kiwanda RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Klamath Falls KOA, Klamath Falls, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We used this campground as a base for a trip to Crater Lake National Park (about 60 miles north). The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us with directions to our next location. There is a gas station on site which is very helpful. The sites are very small but doable. The laundry room was very nice. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Klamath Falls KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Turtle Rock RV Resort, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

This campground worked very nicely for us as a home base for exploring the area. The regular path to the beach was partly underwater so had to walk up a small hill but it was worth the view of the ocean once you got there! The beach was very nice. The restrooms/showers could use some updating. Also could use some additional restrooms without showers. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at an interior pull through site. We camped at Turtle Rock RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Good overnight stop on our way to Yellowstone National Park. We had a pull through site and did not even unhook from the truck. Nice showers, but only 1 shower for men and 1 for women. We camped at Wind River View Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful campground! We would definitely stay there again if visiting YNP. Good location; close to west entrance of YNP and town. Could use more restrooms and showers. There had been a bear in the campground the nights previous to our arrival and the staff was reminding all campers of bear proofing campsites. Very friendly and helpful staff!! We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Grand Haven Resort (formerly Grand Haven Campground), Grand Haven, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We spent 5 nights at this Jellystone Park and really enjoyed it. The park of clean and well taken care of. Some of the water and electrical hookups are a long ways away so have a long hose and extension cord ready. We walked through the entire park daily and all of the sites, seasonal and short term, were tidy and well cared for. The park does offer some discounts. We received a 15% discount because I am a teacher. We did not have children with us but did see children involved in the daily planned activities. Overall, we had a pleasant experience at this campground and would stay here again if returning to the area. We camped at Grand Haven Resort (formerly Grand Haven Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

We spent 5 nights at this campground and it was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Many of the staff members are seasonal work campers. The pool and hot tub were great. We swam during the one hour morning adults only time. We camped in a travel trailer and would return to this park if we are back in the area. We camped at Petoskey KOA in a Travel Trailer.
