We have made this our yearly beach trip for the past five years. It's always the best in every way. We camped at Topsail Hill State Preserve in a Motorhome.

Little River RV Park & Campground, Fort Payne, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is brand new, the only thing that kept it from getting a 10 is a few finishing touches. Sites are wooded and private. Tents and pop-ups are also welcome. This campground also welcomes horses. There was lots to do in the area. Little River Canyon National Preserve is a few miles away, which offers hiking, rock climbing, rafting, kayaking, and hunting (in season). Off road use is allowed on the management area with permit. Horseback riding is allowed with no permit needed. Other area attractions are De Soto State Park, De Soto Falls, Alabama Fan Club (Country Music Group), and Weiss Lake. We camped at Little River RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
