Be sure to follow the directions on the web site and not your GPS or you will be in trouble. Their web site directions take you down a country, curvy road but directly to the campground. The campground is laid out nicely and the staff are very efficient in checking you in. Any questions about the area, they have the answers. The Brandywine River runs by the campground and great for canoeing…they rent the canoes. The campsites are large enough and almost easy to level. They have a very large pool and camp store. If you have children, they have a nice playground area. The train station is only 15 minutes away for transportation into Philadelphia and very cheap. As seniors we paid only $1.00 each one way. Beats driving and the Philly station is right in center city. We definitely recommend the campground.

Staff friendly and check-in efficient. Our site was located on the top of the hill at the backside of the campground. The roads were really narrow, rutty with speed bumps every 10' that were in need of repair or just needed removing. The sites are really large and the entire campground in wooded. Seems most sites are permanent and since we were there during the week, not many campers near us….in fact, none. Very secluded and quiet. Did not see many people except the occasional walkers going by. Except for the mama bear and 3 cubs visiting within 50' of our campsite….extra treat. Was surprised that the possible visitation of bears was not mentioned. The camp store is adequate but small. Grocery stores at least 15 miles away.

The campground was fine except for the dirt roads and dirt sites. The sites were huge and easy to level RV. Did not have sewer hookup but they did have a drain pit at each site for gray water. Convenient to bike trail and Cape Cod National Seashore.

One of the nicest campgrounds that we have stayed. Great sites, large and laid out to not be so close to your neighbor. The campground is wooded and feels secluded. You do hear the trains go by since the train station is within 5 miles but not disruptive. The owners were very friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area. Wish we had more time to spend there.

A little tricky finding the road to turn into the park. Efficient, friendly staff. Campsites were gravel & grass but easy to level. The location is convenient to Acadia NP. Favorite thing was the guy who cooks lobsters every night at the campground and they were delicious.....our first Maine lobster! The wifi was almost non-existent and our cell phone signal was very poor....we have Verizon. The campground was nice but expensive.

Campground located about 2 miles from town and in a quiet area. Situated right on the river which is beautiful which is Perfect for cooling off and wading. Roads are dirt but sites are grassy and level. Sites not too wide but adequate. Given a key card, for a $10 deposit, to get into the campground. The web site stated the laundry had just been updated but 2 out 4 washers were out of order. Bathrooms clean but old. Two nice pools and a hot tub for adults. Some permanent sites but kept clean. Would recommend.

Campground in good location near Lake Placid and other attractions. Staff helpful and friendly. Sites fairly close and road to camping area narrow; only one way in and out. Bathhouses old but clean. Located on river and you can rent kayaks at the campground. Have a well stocked camp store. The playground, putt-putt, and pool were very nice. Rate reflects Good Sam discount.

Great campground. Check-in painless and quick as we had registered online in advance. Our site was long and wide, level, shady. We did not camp on the waterway but very close walking distance. Beautiful sunsets. Busy but not loud. Location perfect to visit area attractions and travel across the bridge to Canada. The bathhouses had individual rooms for showers and bathrooms that were immaculate. We would definitely recommend this campground.

Campground near attractions in the area, shopping, and restaurants. Very small with few amenities. Sites very narrow and short unless you have a pull thru site but that cost $3.00 more per night. The sites were paved and level. Staff friendly and accommodating. Be sure to try restaurant across street from campground - Olympia. Food is excellent and very reasonable. Would stay here again.

Staff friendly and efficient. Sites level but not very wide. The biggest problem was the traffic noise since there was an interstate highway next to the campground so not very peaceful. Easy access in and out. Would stay here again but pick a site closer to the office and further from the highway.

Located in a remote area but not too far form town. Check in went smoothly with courteous and efficient staff. We were escorted to our site. Roads and sites are gravel but well maintained. No trouble leveling our rig. Very quiet. Hiking trails nearby but we were only stopping overnight so did not get to check them out. Would stay here again if in the area. Our rate was after 10% KOA discount.

We camped here in a motorhome, and we were escorted to our site. Sites are wide and on pavement so easy to level. About 20 mins. from downtown. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Laundry was clean and not expensive. Pool was closed for renovation, but I was told up front when I made my reservation. Easy access to Hoover Dam. Would recommend for the convenience and price.

Great place to stay to visit Bryce Canyon. The owners are so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. This is a very small campground right outside the small downtown and approximately 20 miles from Bryce Canyon. The sites are gravel, pull through but easy to level. The restrooms/showers are so clean, and they have a large laundry.

This is a happening place which seems to be a central location for ATV/OHV and bicycle enthusiasts. That did not cause any problems though, ie noise. Our site was dirt but no problem leveling our rig. Sites are also fairly close but no more than any other campground in the area. It is located 10 miles north of town but close to entrances to both national parks. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend if visiting national parks. We stayed here 3 nights.

We stayed here 2 nights, and that would probably be the limit I would stay. The campground was adequate, but the sites were very tight unless you were fortunate to get one of the pull throughs. We were in a 35' motorhome and there was no room to park our vehicle in front. If you were to use your picnic table, you would be sitting next to your neighbor's sewer/water hook ups. The owner was very nice and knowledgeable about the area suggesting things to do. There is a great walking/biking trail that follows the river about 1/2 mile away. There is no laundry but there is a laundromat a block away. Great little restaurant about 1/2 mile away - Sonya's. Lots of places to eat and shop about 5 miles from campground.
