Upon arrival I was immediately approached by an angry camper who was screaming at me to slow down because of the dusty gravel roads. This man went on and on yelling at me about abusing the 6.5 mph speed limit. The office was very hard to locate because there are no signs, same for the camp area. The beach area was a joke with very loose gravel for a beach and a sharp drop-off into the lake. Not a kid friendly campground by any means. Campground is no more than a large gravel lot with a few grass strips. It is near downtown but is located in an industrial park area. It's not quiet! The showers are nice and have been recently updated. However, I will not be back. We camped at Lake Haven Retreat in a Travel Trailer.
