Flying U Country Store and RV Park, Joseph, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This used to be an RV park; now it is a trailer park catering to permanents. Junk around old trailers. Firepits being filled with trash that blows around when the wind comes up. Laundry is dirty and is open to the public. Beginning about 4:30am the young workers start leaving in their loud obnoxious trucks. We camped at Flying U Country Store and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rivers Edge RV Resort, Winterhaven, California

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is based on weekly rate. Tight level spaces. Park has lots of snowbirds who are gone, so park is quite empty. They will try to get you in the shady spaces in the summertime, which you must have. Very large park with big pool and 2 jacuzzis. We camped at Rivers Edge RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Krazy K RV Park, Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is based on monthly rate. Coffin showers with poor shower heads. Small pool not maintained properly. Small park with tight, short, narrow, level spaces. Many permanents, however they are better than at many parks. Lots of road noise. No rules provided at check in. Person who set up next to us put out large speakers for their stereo, which played all day every day. Nice clubhouse, adequate exercise room and nice areas to walk. We camped at Krazy K RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Grand Canyon Caverns RV Park, Peach Springs, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Very quiet and some shade. Trash not picked up, portable toilet was tipped over close to the space we took. When we told them, they did come to upright it, but did not clean it up inside where it had spilled out. The laundry was filthy. Over priced park that has not been maintained for many years. We camped at Grand Canyon Caverns RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Adobe RV Park (55+ park), Golden Valley, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

There is some road noise in this nice small park. Good clubhouse, private showers and good laundry. Verizon internet is vastly improved over the last time we were here a couple of years ago. Most spaces are level back ins, but when not busy he makes them pull through sites. He tries to space people out so you don't feel crowded, although spaces are good sized. We camped at Adobe RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

A relatively inexpensive place to stay that has full hookups. There are a few permanents. No showers are available. There are washers and driers available near the back door to the hotel. You can also use the pool and jacuzzi in the hotel. We camped at Prospector Hotel and Casino in a Travel Trailer.

Cathedral Gorge State Park, Panaca, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects Nevada resident discount. Not all spaces were friendly for larger rigs. A clean, well kept, place to stay. Very quiet. Lots of hiking available in an area that is a geologic wonder. We camped at Cathedral Gorge State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Las Vegas RV Resort , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Delightful pool and jacuzzi. Adequate exercise room. Good library/game room. The clubhouse is top notch. Both laundry areas are large, clean and reasonably priced. Good showers and bathrooms. Many permanents, but they follow the rules and are never a problem. Social events are planned and fun to attend. A great staff and the resort manager is available if needed. We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Cedar Cove RV Park, Elephant Butte, New Mexico

Overall Rating:

Rate is based on monthly stay. Nice folks, lots of activities and very quiet. Big clean showers, best we've had anywhere. Lots of great spaces for all sizes of rigs, varying prices for spaces. Laundry is too small. We camped at Cedar Cove RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Bonanza Inn and Casino, Fallon, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Short, level spaces. Parking lot, literally, with hook ups. People drive through it to access the motel and casino. Noisy from loud radios, traffic and assorted bangs and booms. No laundry or showers. We got very poor service at the restaurant. We camped at Bonanza Inn and Casino in a Travel Trailer.

Austin RV Park, Austin, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

All but one space was filled by permanents. This is a trailer park, not an RV park. Permanents start banging doors at 4:30 AM and all the trucks start up a little after 5 AM. The road noise from the semis engine braking is excessively loud. We camped at Austin RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Crystal Crane Hot Springs, Burns, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

One heck of a value at the PA rate. The hot springs being included in the price is a nice bonus. The shower is coffin style, uncomfortably small. We camped at Crystal Crane Hot Springs in a Travel Trailer.
