Beach Rose RV Park, Salisbury, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This was a small campground, but very nice. The sites were paved and level. There was plenty of room to park the RV, the tow vehicle or toad and still have plenty of space for outdoor furniture. The road to the beach gets very congested, but you can walk or bike instead of drive. The pool is heated and very clean and nice. The staff were all very friendly and nice. We camped at Beach Rose RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Delaware Seashore State Park, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very busy park and sites are tight. There was some road construction right outside the park entrance which made it difficult to get in and out of the campground. There is a nice walkway along the inlet to the beach, but it goes underneath the highway. This can be a little loud. We camped at Delaware Seashore State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Wawaloam Campground, West Kingston, Rhode Island

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

We also had trouble getting to campground. Intersection of Ten Rod Road and Hwy 102 is horrible, and our GPS also led us that way. Damage to rear stabilizer jacks occurred. In addition, there are many trees with very large, low-hanging branches on all roads leading to campground and within campground. The intersection of Hwy 102 and Town Hall Rd ( the one listed on the campground's website) is better, but we almost scraped bottom back of camper leaving from that road, and trees were still an issue. Grass sites in campground were extremely uneven, and with the rain, we were sinking into the ground. Campground entrance road is extremely narrow. They require that you park rig on entrance road while registering which blocks in and out traffic. Everything in campground is an extra charge. We arrived a little early and had to pay $15 fee even though our reserved site was vacant and campground was half empty. Interior roads are very narrow, and there are trees with low hanging branches which make driving to your site, and backing into sites difficult. We would never stay at this campground again. We camped at Wawaloam Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
