Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first stay at this RV Park on Hilton Head. Previously we had stayed at another Motor Coach RV Park on the Island. We enjoyed our Premium Water Site #62 and all the wonderful views and conveniences provided. Stayed here 4 nights which really gave a great feel for the resort. Just a couple of things would have made it perfect. Better WiFi throughout the park is an expected convenience these days. The park has three Tennis Courts (2+1). The pair of courts by the office are in need of repair: cracks/weeds/brush cleanup. The single court in the middle of the park was better but still in need of repair. We realize not all RV'ers require Tennis Courts but when you have them they should be in better condition. Park was very clean and everyone was extremely friendly. (Sunset Grille) Restaurant on premises, although independently owned and operated, was a pleasure. Great sunsets and food. Will stay here again on our travels up and down the East Coast. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Florence RV Park (formerly Florence KOA), Florence, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here on our travels up and down I-95. Same owners but no longer affiliated with KOA. They do however accept KOA, Good Sam, AAA, AARP for discounts. Very friendly staff. However...still a dust bowl when dry. Site was level. Water pressure a little lacking but adequate. We would stay here again. We camped at Florence RV Park (formerly Florence KOA) in a Motorhome.

Sioux City North KOA, North Sioux City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed overnight and found it very clean and friendly. Our site #BB was a Superior grade and had concrete patio with double swing, fire pit and nice table. It was a gravel pull through site. There is easy access to I29. We would stay here again. We camped at Sioux City North KOA in a Motorhome.

Toledo East / Stony Ridge KOA, Perrysburg, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was fine except for VERY CLOUDY drinking water which clogged our water filter. Water system appeared to be full of air at the taps. Pool was cloudy. Bathrooms were filthy. I would not return to this park in the future. We camped at Toledo East / Stony Ridge KOA in a Motorhome.

Westfield / Lake Erie KOA, Westfield, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has the perfect location BUT could use some TLC in the restrooms in middle of grounds. The Main Building restrooms were immaculate and updated. The campground roads and sites had been badly damaged by heavy rain washout and mud ruts. They need gravel desperately. If they clean it up and we may return some day. The walk across the street overlooking Lake Erie is wonderful. We camped at Westfield / Lake Erie KOA in a Motorhome.
