Alley Creek Camp, Jefferson, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Great host. Gave me a ride around in a golf cart allowing me to pick the site I wanted. I didn't see a bad one. Just a matter of which side your awning and hook ups are on and if you want the sun shining on you or not. This Camp is only an hour or so from us. We will be back. Golden Passport honored here. We camped at Alley Creek Camp in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice! Buses stop in front of office making it easy and less costly to visit downtown San Antonio points of interest. Staff was very nice and helpful. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Cajun RV Park, Biloxi, Mississippi

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Golden Passport honored here so the cost was $10.00 per night. We had a wonderful view of Waco Lake. The water was maybe 20 feet below us and the end of the trailer was just a few feet from the bank. The bathrooms were not fancy but well kept. Each picnic table is on concrete and is covered. We camped at Cajun RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rusk Depot Campground (formerly Rusk State Park - Rusk Unit), Rusk, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We had the park to ourselves because the train wasn't scheduled to run on the two days we were there. The assistant camp host came by and invited us to tour the train restoration facilities which was very interesting and a pleasant surprise. I don't remember the exact rate but it was very reasonable so I put $15.00. We camped at Rusk Depot Campground (formerly Rusk State Park - Rusk Unit) in a Travel Trailer.
