Lafontaine RV Park, Penetanguishene, Ontario

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Got to do a 180 on the previous review. Our site was fine, big pull-through, a couple of pine trees, satellite reception was good, 3 way site, nice and level. Park is close to all the tourist attractions: Midland, Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, a few golf courses. Most of the permanent sites are very well kept, very quiet park. We were visiting our friend who stays here during the summer, but that is not influencing my review. If you go to Midland, stop at The Georgian Bakery on King St, the best jelly donuts ever. We camped at Lafontaine RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Just an over nighter on the way down and on the way back. No complaints as they now have Wi-Fi. Lots are huge, never have to disconnect. Easy off and on the Interstate. Major shopping is 5 miles away. We camped at New Green Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Torrey Oakes RV & Golf Resort , Bowling Green, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Best resort we have ever stayed in. Everything is new and nothing is broken. Staff and residents are the nicest people we have met, no attitudes. There's so many activities, you run out of time. Has a large fenced in dog park and all the little critters play together. Lots are for sale here, but there's no pressure to buy. Surrounded by an 18-hole golf course and orange groves. We stayed for the season and have made this our destination park. Only Class "A's" and 5th wheels are allowed. Only complaint would be the potable water occassionally has an odor. We camped at Torrey Oakes RV & Golf Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Savannah Oaks RV Resort, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Good park for an overnighter. Lots of pull throughs even though they are not very level. Way too many speed bumps. Laundry room was good, washrooms clean. Like many others we stayed here while we toured Savannah and Tybee Island. Convenience store/gas station right outside the park. This park served our purpose, no complaints. We camped at Savannah Oaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Crystal Beach Campground, New Annan, Prince Edward Island

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is an old park made for the days of 18 foot trailers, very narrow broken roads. As long as it didn't rain the sites were fine but when it rained they were virtually flooded out. Very close together. On the plus side, the Wi-Fi worked well, 5 miles from Summerside for shopping, and the sunsets were gorgeous. We camped at Crystal Beach Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Bayview Motel, Chalets and RV Park, Alma, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Nice little park, was perfect for our stay. Close to Alma. Much more affordable than the National Park. The fact we only had 2 way hook-up wasn't really a problem. We camped at Bayview Motel, Chalets and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
