The views around this campground are beautiful and tranquil. We camped with two other families. We were all on lakefront sites, sites H19-H21. The campground is very clean. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. It was odd that less than half the sites were taken, even during the weekend. There is not much in the immediate area. The bugs were the only true drawback. They are small and did not bite, but swarmed. Because of the wet summer they have hung around. During the day they tend to stay to the shaded side of the trailer. At night do not leave any light on inside or outside your trailer. The first night we learned this after hundreds covered the trailer side wall. We brought bikes and enjoyed daily rides around the island and out on the causeway. All was level, paved and a great way to get around. Our teenagers kept busy with pool, ping pong, tennis, etc. I would recommend this campground, but would stay away from buggy periods.

This is a very family oriented campground. We camped here with two other families in the pull through sites in front near the recreational field. Our sites were a nice size with plenty of room in front and back of our trailer to park our vehicle, along with nice spacing between trailers. The campground is level throughout. There are numerous kids throughout the day walking, riding bikes or pedal cars. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. They have a shuttle to the village that comes and goes hourly. There is lots to do in the area. It is 6 miles from Lake George village. They offered daily breakfast buffet for $1.99, also a nice convenience. A group of us also took advantage of tubing down the lazy river into the campground. This campground has lots to do and is convenient to Lake George. We would definitely return again.
