Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

The best campground in the USA. They have WiFi but but it was 9 bucks a day and you had to have a big hook up box to get it. It should be free and be availible all over the park. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Ocala Sun RV Resort, Ocala, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendy staff and a nice place. Has a nice pool. Easy access to I-75. The park is a big open grassy lot with no pads that seems typical to Florida. We camped at Ocala Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Canyon Trail RV Resort, San Marcos, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The park is definitely not a resort but it is fine for visits to the San Marcos Area. The park is clean and well maintained. The owner is very nice and helpful. The pads are level and the electricity is good. Wi-Fi and cable worked. Close to interstate, shopping, and food. Noise was there from the cement plant but I could not hear it in my RV at all. We sleep with a fan blowing and it covers the sound for sleeping. I was nice weather and we sat outside visiting with friends and it was not a problem. Overall a great place to spend a few days. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Holiday Campground / West Point Lake COE, LaGrange, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park and good staff. Very clean but lacks a good pad to sit on. Park closes gate at 10pm and does not open gate until 7am so getting an early start is difficult but is secure. We camped at Holiday Campground / West Point Lake COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Twin Lakes Catfish Farm and Campground, Baxter, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

A very clean park with great staff. The sites are level. We camped here on July 4th and they had a wonderful celebration. There was a huge fireworks display and live music. I caught several fish in the catfish ponds. We had a great time. It is easy to get to off of I-40. It is quiet, and the Cafe is pretty good too. We will stay there again if we get in the area. It is a nice park in a nice area with great people. We camped at Twin Lakes Catfish Farm and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
