Pioneer Park Campground, Somerset, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very well-maintained campground and one our favorite places to visit. It is very level. Excellent for bike-riding. Bathrooms are super clean. They pick up your garbage at your camp site. They have kids activities on the weekends. It is a very popular place to stay and books up quite frequently. So call early for reservations. We camped at Pioneer Park Campground in a Tent.

Rose Point Park Cabins and Camping, New Castle, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice campground close to Pittsburgh. It is a little hilly where the seasonal sites are located. The tent sites are fairly flat. The pull-through sites were in a level area and seem pretty tight. There are a lot of activities for kids to do. There is an excellent miniature golf course that is a five minute walk away. The owners were very friendly. We will definitely visit this campground again. We camped at Rose Point Park Cabins and Camping in a Tent.
