Casey Jones RV Park, Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Third time we've stayed here - convenient to the interstate, highway noise minimal. Easy in and out sites. Reasonably priced propane that saved us another stop. We camped at Casey Jones RV Park in a Motorhome.

Five Rivers Motel and RV Park, Leonard, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were very close together. Had we had a bigger driver's side slide, we would have blocked our neighbor from exiting his rig. After we had already checked in, we spotted a city campground a half block down that would have been more spacious. We camped at Five Rivers Motel and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mr. D's RV & Camper Park, Ozark, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The owner could not have been more helpful. We arrived by tow truck, having broken down a few miles down the road. She knew the owner of the local car dealer and called him after hours to arrange for help to fix our motor home. Because of plans that couldn't be changed, we left the motor home there while waiting for parts, knowing that it was safely parked during our absence. We definitely will stay there again and hopefully get there under our own power. We camped at Mr. D's RV & Camper Park in a Motorhome.

Tower Campground, Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The managers were very patient with us - we had to change our arrival multiple times while we were waiting for a replacement a/c west of there. The frequent changes had to have wreaked havoc with their reservations but they were very gracious, friendly, and helpful when we finally arrived. We camped at Tower Campground in a Motorhome.

Owners of Sky Mountain, made us feel very welcome, as did others that stay there seasonally. We felt like part of a big family. This is a nice quiet park that we'll return to in the future. We camped at Sky Mountain Resort RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Blue Mountain RV Park, Blanding, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The owners are some of the friendliest folks we've encountered staying at a campground. They were very helpful in giving us tips on what to see and do while in Blanding and the surrounding area. The sites are spacious and well-maintained, as is the entire campground. We'll stay here again. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

La Mesa RV Park, Cortez, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Manager friendly but campground run-down. Pet policies are not enforced, even after we complained - several dogs run off leash, bother other campers, aren't cleaned up after. Our last night here, after staying a week, we were advised by a man who appears to live here permanently that we were not to walk our dog on the grass - first time we heard of that policy. We always keep our dog on a leash and pick up her messes and here we're told this after stepping over other 'landmines'. We will never stay here again and do not recommend it at all, despite the convenience to Mesa Verde and town. We camped at La Mesa RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
