Our stay was $121 a night for a park model cabin. It was way over priced and not comfortable at all. These cabins were actually very small mobile homes, not cabins like what is pictured on the website. This would have been OK except that the mattress in the cabins were 6" thin, filled with springs and wrapped in noisy hospital plastic. All night long we were trying to balance high center on the edge of the mattress so we wouldn't be sleeping on each other. FYI: One of us weighs 140 and the other 110. I was very glad that the campground was close to Cedar Point, after a night of no sleep and a day of rides, I was in no condition to face a long drive with traffic.

This park was perfect and we will be back! Although this was our first visit and we arrived late, the park host who checked us in was cheerful, gracious and happy to see us. A very helpful employee then led us to our site, helped us back in and hook up. He even volunteered to start our campfire for some very excited children while we set up lawn chairs and got s’mores ready. The next morning we had a breath taking view of the sunrise over the private lake on the property, took a leisurely stroll with the dogs and met up with the kids for a swim. Although we were camping in a trailer we used the park bathhouse because it was more than just clean, it was spotless. The showers are bigger than those we have at home with plenty of hot water. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the cleanliness of the facilities and the park property. We have been back several times, and we are now planning our family reunion to take place at the Deer Run RV Resort.
