Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $78.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park. Well kept and lots of things for kids to do. My issue is paying $78 for one night for a pull thru that couldn't be pulled through and the 'couldn't care less attitude' from the 'office.' Don't show up early. Even if 40 minutes early they'll want an extra $15!!!

Had to stay at the rear of the site and still couldn't level. No sense pulling too far in anyway: the trees aren't trimmed high and would have been against the side of the RV. Power bad until I spread the prongs of my elect plug wide enough to contact an old, worn outlet. Water ran rusty at first until it flushed for a minute or two. Have stayed at the next door CG in the past; will again in the future. Too bad about the attitude and site assignment here. It looks like a nice place otherwise. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Billings Village RV Park, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Been here before. Picked it again for the rate. Paved roads & sites; almost like a parking lot but the sites do have a well kept lawn. Nice folks running the place. We'd stay here again. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Medora Campground, Medora, North Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Pulled in without a reservation & got an OK site. Dirt pad, dirt roads. Trees. So there was shade. At $42 for the night it seemed pricey for what we got. Lots of family's there looking like they were having lots of fun. We camped at Medora Campground in a Motorhome.

Ok for an overnight stay. Nothing memorable other than the friendly person checking us in and letting us choose a site that worked for us. We camped at Hillsboro Campground in a Motorhome.

Shipshewana Campground - South Park, Shipshewana, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

I'm rating this place based on the area. Compared to a CG with a pool, paved roads & sites (resort kind of place) this would get a 5 out of ten. But considering the location it's one our favorites. Location has everything to do with that. Level sites, good power, no pesky trees. We camped at Shipshewana Campground - South Park in a Motorhome.

Elkhart Co. / Middlebury KOA, Middlebury, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The first site we were assigned wasn't big enough for our rig (which is 36'); there was a tree brushing the side of our RV. Got easily relocated and all was ok. Nice place. Very nice people at the office. We'd stay here again. We camped at Elkhart Co. / Middlebury KOA in a Motorhome.

Mesa Verde RV Resort, Mancos, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park is clean, well kept (except for one item noted below), convenient to Durango and Mesa Verde and Cortez. The pool is clean and heated. they have 2 hot tubs although they are mostly filled with kids most of the time (at least when I went). Staff is very friendly and helpful. So why an average rating... 2 items..... 1) No usable WiFi. Yes, they have WiFi. No, it isn't actually usable for accessing the internet. Their info even states it may be slow when the park is busy. Well, the park is almost always busy because it is the nicest in the area; so..... no usable WiFi. I never could stay online on their network. Oh - if you're an AT&T customer forget about any throughput on their network too. 2) There are beautiful tress providing lots of shade. But they are not trimmed high enough in parts of the park to pass through in an average 12 foot RV without scraping the limbs. They can use a bit of trimming to get them higher and they wouldn't sacrifice shade. We'd stay again on a short term basis, but if staying longer would sacrifice location for WiFi and cell signal. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

I suppose when in this area on a holiday weekend the rate is the rate. This campground required going all the way through Moab to get to the Nationl Parks and most other places. But the ride is quick. The roads and sites are mostly dirt with some gravel; they do an outstanding job of keeping the dust down by watering the roads; sometimes multiple times during the day. Some sites are wider than others but all seem to have adequate room. The folks who run the CG and who work here are very friendly and really helpful, always asking if everything is ok and quick with a hello. On windy day you might get some serious dust from the adjacent horse track/arena - whether there are horses on it or not; so try to stay at the back part of the park. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Mountain View RV Park, Monticello, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

You have to understand this "8" is based on choices in the area. I think we chose well. The folks running this campground were super helpful and friendly. The sites can be real close depending on which one you are in but there is some shade at least in those tight sights. If you want a lot of room get on the open row away from the trees. WiFi is REALLY GOOD. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Goulding's Lodge & Campground, Oljato-Monument Valley, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

Wow! $57 a nite for 2 people with 50 amps. Not much of a choice in the area if you want hookups and not be in the middle of dust storms. so we sucked it up and paid. The site was OK. The place is kept very clean. The person who checked us in seemed like she could have cared less. We were glad we were a bit sheltered from the winds on the open mesa/plains. We camped at Goulding's Lodge & Campground in a Motorhome.

Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 3 nights. The roads and sites are dirt; there are some stones/gravel, but are mostly dirt. The sites are mostly level; it amazes me that for as flat as the land is the sites can't be more level, it always seems like one side is low. The folks there are friendly and accommodating. They maintain a clean place and have some nice memorabilia in the main building. We camped at Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post in a Motorhome.

Coral Sands RV Park, Bluff, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

If you don't need public restrooms or showers this is a great choice. Easy in and out and some shade. The caretaker is super friendly and helpful. There are some other locations in Bluff, but we'd go back to this one. Sites are level. Roads are gravel/dirt - about all you'll get in this area. WiFi was real good. We camped at Coral Sands RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tall Chief RV & Camping Resort - Thousand Trails, Fall City, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here because of our rate (Coast-To-Coast), proximity to Seattle and we couldn't extend our stay is Issaquah. It worked for the few nights we were there. It's bit of an odd place. I had to page someone from the front gate to get checked in. then we had to find our own site and report it back to the front gate (after we set up). All the roads are gravel/dirt. It hadn't rained in ages so it was dusty. One of the workers stopped by he was very friendly. The front gate folks were a bit standoff-ish; it's just an odd place to check into. Even a member had to park their car and walk to the front check in gate to get a pass. We'd probably stay again if we needed to. The spaces are roomy and it's a quiet place. We camped at Tall Chief RV & Camping Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.
