Pro: If you want to be right on the beach, this is the place! Sleep with the roar of the ocean waves in your ears. Con: Several people lost generators to thieves the weekend we were here -- even those with security cables. Don't leave anything outside you don't want to lose! Trains run by frequently, and the freight trains are loud and shake your RV. Takes a while to get used to them.

We stayed here briefly on our very first trip with a new (to us) Class A motorhome. When we arrived, we needed the assistance of the Camp Host to change sites because ours was as steep as a playground slide, and we couldn't get level despite blocks and boards. No one was available, nor was there a sign saying when s/he would return. Perhaps because of this, the noise went on well after 11 p.m. Even worse, when we left the next day, large untrimmed branches overhanging the road left broad, deep scratches in the side of our coach. This is very traumatic when it's your first trip with a new toy! Class A motorhomes -- beware! Avoid this campground!
