Miles City KOA, Miles City, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Park-like grounds and super friendly owners! Great little stop for an over nighter or weekend stay. Huge cable selection and nice, shaded, level sites. Bathrooms were always clean and the laundry was nice. Ask the front desk before heading through town back to the interstate, there is a VERY low clearance bridge on Main St. We camped at Miles City KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This was an overnighter for us on our way back from Glacier. Kind of off the beaten path, but a nice and pleasant surprise. We really enjoyed the campground. Was clean, friendly and had level sites. Also a good amount of trees. Plenty of amenities. We'd stay again! We camped at St. Cloud Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great campground just a few miles from the start of the Going To The Sun Road. Tucked back off the highway, nice, quiet and a great view. The store is awesome as was the laundry. The bathrooms were clean and large. Good selection of heavily wooded and open camp sites. Our site was nice and level. Great place! We camped at West Glacier KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Yellowstone Park / West Entrance KOA, West Yellowstone, Montana

Overall Rating:

Pricey but worth the cost. A little outside of West Yellowstone but not too bad. We had a Deluxe back-in site with paved patio, swing and table. Great park with really nice staff and clean bathrooms! One of the nicest we found around the West Entrance to Yellowstone! We camped at Yellowstone Park / West Entrance KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) , Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

WOW! This is NOT your run of the mill, national park campground! Absolutely beautiful sites in tall pines. Sites are not the most level, but we managed with only a few leveling boards. WiFi only available at the store and restaurants. You cannot beat a 2 minute walk to the lake that overlooks the Grand Tetons! Very nice camp staff. Excellent general store, shopping, food, etc. We camped at Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) in a Travel Trailer.

Custer / Mt. Rushmore KOA, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park right in the middle of the Black Hills action. Just down the road from Jewel Cave and about equity distant between Mt. Rushmore and Wind Cave. A great fenced-in pet exercise area. Pull-thrus looked a bit tight but our back-in was awesome! I'd recommend for a short Black Hills stay! We camped at Custer / Mt. Rushmore KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Patricia Lake Campground, Minocqua, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Had a great experience at Patricia Lake Campground! Large, wooded sites with a very convenient hook-up post for electricity and cable TV. Sewer hook-up was also convenient for travel trailers. Water hook-up required extra length of hose for this specific site, but not really a problem. Spotless bathrooms that always smelled fresh. Lots of seasonals who were very nice. Very generous wood bundles for sale. Lake is small but swimming area includes a separate "dog beach". A nice touch for dog owners! Overall: a great weekend! We camped at Patricia Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Rustic Timbers Door County Camping (formerly Door County Camping Retre, Egg Harbor, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

A great park that is heavily wooded with plenty of room between sites. Bathrooms are well kept. Lots of stuff for kids to do with pool, game room, playground, movies outside at night, etc. Sanitary dump has two stations which keeps things moving. Apparently they are working on building out a new full hookup area and more Wi-Fi is on the way for next year. We will definitely be back! We camped at Rustic Timbers Door County Camping (formerly Door County Camping Retre in a Travel Trailer.
