Newfound RV Park, Bristol, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a relatively new RV Park - Nicely designed with pull thrus in the center and several parallel sites on the outside borders. The sites are so level it was not necessary to use my leveling system. Strong electric power and good WIFI.

This was my third year to visit this campground which is centrally located for visiting the lakes region. The owners are knowledgeable and helpful. We camped at Newfound RV Park in a Motorhome.

Breckenridge Lake RV Campground, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of my favorite "in the country campgrounds". Quiet location - almost all sites under large oak trees. New owners this year have upgraded the restrooms and the Wi-Fi. At the time of our visit the renovation of the clubhouse was over 80% completed.

Lots of local sightseeing available- and several non-chain restaurants offer interesting dining out experiences.

Not to missed is the Cumberland County Playhouse which offers NY Broadway quality performances. (Sound of Music and Mary Poppins during our stay) This is not a DESTINATION campground, but rather a quiet campground where the laid back atmosphere is the destination. We camped at Breckenridge Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.

RayPort Campground, Martins River, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a family oriented campground which is super friendly. There are many riverfront sites. There is strong electric service and excellent water pressure and quality. Almost every site is tree shaded. There is strong WiFi ($$). The honey Wagon service twice weekly makes up for the non-full hookup sites. Reservations are required weekends and desirable weekdays during high season. Its a great location to explore and enjoy the "South Shore" of Nova Scotia from Lunenburg to Peggy's Cove. We have been here 6 times and have met campers that have visited for 15 years - need I say more? We camped at RayPort Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a quiet basic campground in an excellent mid-coast area for exploring mid coast Maine. Easy access to LL Bean, and the Pemaquid peninsula. Great economical water front lobster dining. We have returned several times. New owners have been slowly upgrading the campground. We camped at Cajun RV Park in a Motorhome.
