Broken Wheel Campground, Weston, West Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

It was our first visit to the campground and we were greeted by very friendly staff. The campground was well kept and the sites were well spaced. I agree about the rusty water, but ours soon cleared up too. We camp with small children and we were very happy that they could actually ride their bikes on the road with out a lot of traffic. We would definitely camp there again. We camped at Broken Wheel Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Watoga State Park, Marlinton, West Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

What a beautiful mountain setting. The sites are really big and offer a lot of shade. Our little ones loved the frequent visits by the deer. The paved roads were great for our children to ride their bikes on, the traffic was minimal. We enjoyed a nice lazy afternoon tubing down the river. The only thing that disappointed us was no water at the sites. We camped at Watoga State Park in a Travel Trailer.
