Jekyll Island Campground, Jekyll Island, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2005 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is the second time we stayed here, fell in love with the place the first time (May 2004), the racoons were a bit of a menace the first time but were not this time, love the peace and quite of the park and the big sites. We had plenty of room both times. We love the bike trails, and the fishing pier directly across from the campground. It is a nice bike ride down to it. The management is very friendly and helpful. Thanks so much for the great time can't wait to go back. We camped at Jekyll Island Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Tallulah River Walk (Closed), Tallulah Falls, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2004
Overall Rating:

We currently hold a membership in this resort and have since 2001. The first 2 years of camping here was great, since that time management has changed and it has gotten terrible, they are unfriendly and hateful. We only camped once in 2004 and have not camped there any this year. If you are invited to this campground to view it, take the gifts and maybe a free night camping and talk to other campers there to see for yourself, but do not buy into this resort you will be dissappointed in the long run. Ask if the taxes are paid up to date (not since 2001). We camped at Tallulah River Walk (Closed) in a Tent Trailer.
