Seward Waterfront Park, Seward, Alaska

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This is actually a series of three more or less separate camps along the bay between the tour boat terminals and downtown Seward. The best, smallest and most intimate is the last one going south. Mind you all are gravel parking lots except for some grassy tent sites, but the view is wonderful. So close to the water I was worried about high tides. There is a city-run dump and fresh water facility across the street. We camped at Seward Waterfront Park in a Motorhome.

Starrigavan Campground, Sitka, Alaska

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

A wonderful Forest Service campground. Minutes from the ferry terminal. A bit of a drive into Sitka because it is at the end of road north out of town. We camped at Starrigavan Campground in a Motorhome.

Pullen Creek RV Park, Skagway, Alaska

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

It is cozy and quiet when there are no cruise ships and over run with passengers when there are ships. It is very close to town - about one block. I found the owner only a bit more surly than most RV park owners. We camped at Pullen Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.
