Carefree Village Resort, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fairly new park, only a couple of years old. The sites are very spacious so you will have plenty of room for all your chairs, tables, etc. and your vehicle. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The only reason I did not rate a 10 is because there is not WiFi throughout the park. If you have a spot near the office, then you will be able to get it. We were in a pull thru near the office and these do not have concrete pads but the back in sites do have the pads. There are no picnic table at any of the sites, and there are no trees/shrubs except by the buildings. The park offers a whole lot of amenities though. They have three fenced in dog areas and they were always clean. There is a Walmart right up the street and the freeway access is right by the RV park. Roads in the park are all paved. While we were here one of our AC's quit working. We called Vic's RV Repair. Vic came out and fixed this and was very reasonable. If you ever need any repairs, call him at 928-580-8774 and you will get someone who is honest and fair, unlike some. We have already made reservations to come back next year. We camped at Carefree Village Resort in a Motorhome.

Eagle Nest RV Resort, Polson, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We wouldn't recommend this for larger rigs. Ours is a 40 foot. We asked for a pull thru, but you have to unhook as the roads are very narrow and when you have to go around a curve, you may have to back up to maneuver around the curve. And when we were getting ready to leave we had to ask the people in front/across from us to move their truck so that we could get out on the very narrow road. Thank goodness they were very gracious in accommodating us. The people in the office were very friendly and the park itself has lots of grass and is very clean. We would not stay here again because of the hassle of maneuvering the RV in and out. We camped at Eagle Nest RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Countryside RV Park, LLC, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is a no frills RV Park but is such a great place if you like being in the country and yet only 2 miles to Dillon. The sites were very spacious and each site had grass. It is right off the highway, but far enough so you heard no traffic noise. We definitely would stay here again. We camped at Countryside RV Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

Pioneer Beach Resort, Port Aransas, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

The park is a bit overpriced, but I guess that is because you can walk across the boardwalk to the beach. The sites were concrete and had plenty of space. The sites had nice picnic tables. There was a large fenced in dog park which our dogs loved. We camped at Pioneer Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice RV Park. It has long pull thrus and concrete pads and patio. Grass at each site. Very spacious. The staff were all very nice. Fenced in dog run. We didn't use any of the facilities. But everything outdoors was very clean and tidy. Easy on and off I-40. We ordered pizza from their deli area. You order and they will call when it's ready. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park, Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The park is between Amarillo TX and Albuquerque/Gallup NM and is a great place to stop. It is a bit rustic with no frills, which we are fine with. The roads are a bit narrow, but you/re still able to get around (we were in a 40 ft. motorhome) The site we were in was long enough so that we didn't have to unhook. The sites are mostly dirt and gravel and had a picnic table at the site. The staff were absolutely wonderful. We had dinner at their restaurant and there was a lot to pick from. My husband had the ribs and I had the steak. Both were delicious and we didn't have to unhook. Plus, they will deliver to your RV. Can't ask for anything more. We would definitely stop here again. One thing, our GPS was a little off when directing us to this campground. You would have to take Exit 277 if going west. We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest RV Resort that we've stayed at. We were in a long pull thru and had a concrete pad with a concrete patio, grass and a picnic table. The WiFi worked very good. There is a bus stop right outside the park which will take you to the San Antonio River Walk. Lots of wonderful trees and bushes throughout the park. There is a wonderful river walk trail which is right next to the park and it is great to walk and ride your bike and has beautiful scenery. One downfall, it you want to use your satellite there are limited spaces for this as there are a lot of trees, etc. The cable worked great. The office people were very friendly and so helpful. We were parked right next to the pool and it looked great. We would recommend this park to everyone. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We drove t0 the historical town of Gruene (pronounced Green). It is about 40 miles north east of San Antonio. What a great place to visit. Lots of old buildings and fun shops. It is definitely worth driving the 40 miles. Lots to see and do there.

Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Perfect place to stop when traveling from NM to Texas. The park is rustic but very nice, which we like. They had a lot of art around the park which was fun to see. Everything was neat and tidy. We didn't use the restrooms or laundry. The fenced in dog park was great. The WiFi worked great. Long pull thru and a picnic table and grass at our site. We had dinner at their small on-site restaurant. Food was good. We would stay here again for sure. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sunflower Resort (55+ park), Surprise, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here under Passport America. The regular price seemed a bit high though. Most of the sites have park models and are for sale or owned. The sites for RV's were very nice. The dog park is one of the best we have ever seen. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Sunflower Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Seven Feathers RV Park, Canyonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This has to be one of the nicest parks ever. They have everything landscaped beautifully. The sites had plenty of room for a 40 foot and towing. There is a fenced in dog park with cedar chips rather than gravel. There is plenty of room to walk your dogs as they had walkways which went around the park. The service is excellent. They have a shuttle that will pick you up and take you to the Casino. We don't gamble but they offered to have the shuttle take us to the little town of Canyonville. The WiFi wasn't great (otherwise this would have been rated a 10) , but it pretty rare to get great WiFi in any RV park. Other than the Casino and the little town of Canyonville there is nothing else. But it is worth the stay and we would definitely stay there again. We camped at Seven Feathers RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whiskey Flats RV Park, Hawthorne, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fairly new park and has large sites and all are pull thrus. You park on a concrete pad but the rest is gravel. Each site has a small picnic table. It's great for spending the night and the price is right. Very easy to get to, right off 95. We weren't bothered by any noise. We have two dogs and there was no fenced in dog park and only gravel to walk them on. There was a Safeway store within walking distance but that is about all there is around there. We would stay here again. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.

Likely Place RV & Golf Resort, Likely, California

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

If you like Golf then you will want to stay here. The sites have plenty of room to keep the toad hooked up. There was a nice size patch of grass at each site along with a picnic table. Some very pretty views as the park is up high. We just spent one night here. The only downfall is the road getting to the park (which is very narrow and a long way to get to the park). We are glad we didn't meet another motorhome come from the opposite direction as there would not be enough room to pass each other. We camped at Likely Place RV & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.
