If you like crowds and lots of things to do, then this campground will be nirvana! We had a super back-in site next to a trout pond with a nice view, however, the road traffic noise was annoying. This is a huge campground (2000 people over the July 4th weekend). The staff was friendly and communication was OK, no problems there. If you do not feel like cooking, there is an on-site restaurant serving 3 meals a day. Being the 4th, the owners had a decent fireworks show and ice cream was supposed to be served afterwards, but, due to a massive power outage, it all melted. Oh well.. Lots for kids to do including swimming in 2 pools, tubing, fishing, bring your bikes! Overall, this was a great experience, the staff did a great job keeping the grounds clean. We camped at Cherokee / Great Smokies KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
