Gitche Gumee RV Park, Marquette, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Had a week reservation & went to the park to explain the situation of having to cancel days (nearly a week) before before coming in. Full payment was taken a month earlier and no refund is being given at all. It was explained that is not their policy. I said I wish I'd know that in advance. The explanation was ," This is the UP. That's how I do things." The park is rustic to say the least. The facilities in the men's room had a leaky pipe & would not flush. That's the only facility I used. Walking around dirt roads with very tight turns could be difficult. We camped at Gitche Gumee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cedarlane RV Park, Port Clinton, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Big resort with lots of amenities, including multiple pools for all ages. Good electric & WIFI as well as good OTA TV or satellite shot. Very friendly staff. Lots of seasonals, but also lots of transient spots because of it's location in the Lakeside-Marblehead area on the NE shore of Lake Erie. About 20 miles to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky. Average pricing considering the area ($348/wk). Had no need for bathrooms or laundry, so can't comment. We camped at Cedarlane RV Park in a Motorhome.

Windy Hill Golf Club and Campground, Conneaut, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped here because of the last review on July 2015 by WALT66 as we only needed a quick over night. All amenities were "good enough" for an overnight. However, the lady attendant said they haven't been part of PA for years (obviously a lie) & we were charged $49 for 30A E & W. Not coming back & will be spreading the word. We camped at Windy Hill Golf Club and Campground in a Motorhome.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Great park. Good sized sites with good hook-ups. Staff friendly & helpful. Many pull-through as well as back-in sites available. Situated on edge of town, so is quite, yet close enough to all of Santa Fe. Would stay here again. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Raton Pass Camp and Cafe (Formerly Cedar Rail), Raton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Campground OK for a quick overnight. Electric was good, but water pressure was low and cell service was nonexistent, as was OTA TV. Clear shot at satellite, though. Owners friendly enough, but they have little to offer to make this a good park. Not a place for more than one overnight. We camped at Raton Pass Camp and Cafe (Formerly Cedar Rail) in a Motorhome.

Town of Raton has seen better days. Most businesses are closed. Welcome Center clean and helpful. Santa Fe Trail runs through town as well as Capulin Volcano nearby and worth a visit.

Loveland RV Resort, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Large campground with lots of sites. Situated convenient to food & shopping areas. Unfortunately, the sites are very tight/narrow. Lots of large trees spaced so it can be "very" difficult even pulling through. I nearly dented my large awning, because the parker could not see both sides at once. Staff are friendly & helpful, but had to share the same outside space as our neighbor due to alternate direction pull-throughs. Only had 30amp service for a pretty high price. Most likely will not return. We camped at Loveland RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Edgewater RV Resort & Motel, Lakeside, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Neat, clean park with RV sites as well as motel rooms, condos & boat slips. Restrooms & showers very clean. Good electric. Water pressure about 80 lb, so bring a reducer. Sites are good sized & clean & level, each with sitting pad with table & wood grill. Cable has 20+ channels & is clear. Managers Richard & Fran are the best. Will do anything to help. Have stayed here once before a few years ago & will stay again. We camped at Edgewater RV Resort & Motel in a Motorhome.

Coulee Playland Resort, Electric City, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Much too expensive for what you get. No discounts of any kind, even weekly. Park is geared toward local fishing activities. Sites are small & mostly dirt. What concrete pads there are are broken & uneven. Workers are friendly & helpful, but they don't have much to work with. Much too pricey. Will not return. We camped at Coulee Playland Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed in this nice park for 4 days. Only W/E hookup available at the time, but restrooms close & very clean. Sites shady but satellite easy to lock onto. Would definitely come again if in the area. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Motorhome.

Cloverdale RV Park, Cloverdale, Indiana

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Older (ex-KOA) Good Sam park. Gravel/mud (rainy while here) sites are level. Some sites are long enough for big rigs, but can be difficult getting out of some. Be careful. 30 amp only may not be a problem but the electric post is "very" close to the ground. Our surge protector had to be put on some wood in the rain. Park host was very friendly and accommodating. Stayed 3 days, but would probably not return except for a quick overnight. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Motorhome.

Southern Oaks Luxury RV Resort, Aransas Pass, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects "Rally" rate. Not impressed with the park. Reservations "very" difficult to make. Phone calls never returned. Took 3-4 calls to talk to someone. Owner very accommodating. Office Manager seems to know nothing about RVing & refused to assist us several times. Most people in the park were friendly, but some actually said we were not welcome. Sites were good sized, but grass is covered with sand burrs, so much so that pets could not walk on the grass. The pet run was also covered in burrs. Expensive "pay by the drink" WI-FI is the only thing available & no cable available. This is the furthest thing from a Luxury Resort. Will not return. There are plenty of other new parks in the area to choose from. We camped at Southern Oaks Luxury RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very clean park. Big sites & wide access roads in the park. Staff very friendly. Sites & road in front of sites cleaned immediately after someone leaves. Wi-Fi slightly weak, but tolerable. Stayed for 10 days. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Can't wait to see the planned new buildings & sites in the new area. We camped at Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.
