Brown County State Park, Nashville, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful Park! We do about 70% of our camping here. Always a pleasure coming here. Nashville has nearby shops for men, women, & children. The flea markets are interesting too. There is a dog kennel just outside of Gnaw Bone if you are going to be gone for an extended stay and don't want to leave your pets inside your camper for very long. This is an outstanding place to camp and I recommend it to everyone, especially in the fall. We camped at Brown County State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Prophetstown State Park, West Lafayette, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

As said earlier, this is a new park. Little or no shade available. Sites are all laid out in landscape timber with fine rock as the base. This will cause some sites to hold water after a large rain. We had a very good time staying here and my wife loved all the deer we saw. Our first night we watched a doe and her 2 fawns cross a road in front of us. The 1920's era farm was a delight to go thru. The native Indian village was disappointing as it was not finished yet. There was no charge for this as they do not charge campers for admission. We did visit Tippecanoe Battlefield and the nearby Wolf Park. We had an excellent 3 day visit and will return someday. We camped at Prophetstown State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Brown County KOA (formerly The Last Resort RV Park) , Nashville, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2005 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here during Labor Day Weekend, 2005. Sites are close together and hard to level. This was a last minute camping trip the wife and I decided to go on. This was in fact, our "Last Resort" at finding a spot. The main enjoyment we had were the walks back into the "old" section of the campground. There were numerous sites down an access road behind my campsite that hadn't been used in years, nor are they likely to be in the future. We took the dog on walks there daily. Restroom/Shower area was clean. Never used the pool area. I would only stay here again as a "Last Resort", but my visit was not unpleasant. We camped at Brown County KOA (formerly The Last Resort RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

River Plantation RV Park, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2005 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent campground. We stayed here for 4 days in August 2005. Restroom/Shower are was super clean. Pool/Hot Tub area was also clean and organized. No complaints from the wife or myself. We had site #66 with W/E/S & cable hookup. The concrete pad under the awning was a nice addition too. I highly recommend this campground. We camped at River Plantation RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
