Riverdale RV Park, Louisbourg, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Small camp but great location, walkable to Fort and town. New building for showers which were immaculate and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Sites level and well spaced. The fish processing plant has closed--no more fishy smells anywhere we went in town and certainly not any here. Great Wi-Fi, which was open and free. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Riverdale RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wassamki Springs, Scarborough, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very large camping site. On one side of a lake there is the more typical layout under large trees, store, and activities for families. However, the first site we were assigned our rig was very close to the neighbor's fire ring. They gave us our choice of sites and we moved to the other side on the lake on an open grassy area with a lake view. Very nice, friendly place. Wi-Fi was fast and free. We camped at Wassamki Springs in a Motorhome.

Cavendish Campground (Parks Canada), Prince Edward Island National Park, Prince Edward Island

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

This was at the campsite near Cavindish. There is another one in the same park to the east about 15 miles away. Wide, and very private sites with full hookups. If you boondock you can camp facing the ocean. Others are a short walk to the beach, which was not crowded. No Wi-Fi. I would stay here again. We camped at Cavendish Campground (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

Coldbrook Resort Campground, Gansevoort, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Staff was rude and acted annoyed to be bothered. No one would show me to site because it was so late she said-7:30pm. Had to sign a release in case I got hurt. Site was level nestled with seasonal campers and barking dogs. Ice cream truck with an annoying song moves throughout the campground. Place is crowded and poorly laid out with dead end roads. Electrical for 30 amp had an open ground. 20 amp was correctly wired and used it with an adapter but only provided 117 volts. Music blared after 10pm from nearby campsite. If it wasn't so late I would have gone elsewhere. I would not stay here again. We camped at Coldbrook Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

Estes Park KOA, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Convenient free shuttle service stops right in front of campground. Rather tight spaces for large rigs but no problem for my little class B. Typical KOA, clean, well kept and friendly staff. I will stay here again next time in Estes Park. We camped at Estes Park KOA in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Far from Estes Park and getting in and out very difficult. Crowded, tight spaces. Park appears not very well kept. Tried to put us in a back in site that had a steep drop off on the side with little room to spare. Demanded refund, which they gave reluctantly after a short argument and I went somewhere else. Definitely would not recommend. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Motorhome.

Cowboy RV Park, Pocatello, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is an excellent small, quiet RV park in Pocatello, Idaho. They have paved RV sites, the bathrooms and showers were as nice as they could be and spotless. The laundry facilities are clean with new machines (and plenty to go around). This is a perfect place to stop. Highly recommended. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Motorhome.
