Ferenbaugh Campsites, Corning, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is an awesome campground. It is private but has the feel of being in a state park. There are lots of things for the kids to do. Our site was right on the little stream and it kept our little one busy for hours. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Ferenbaugh Campsites in a Tent Trailer.

Holiday Pines Campground, Loganton, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The owners of this campground are super: they went out of their way to help us when our trailer broke down 3 miles from the camp. We stayed here for 4 nights and used this as our homebase for day trips. Our kids enjoyed the pool, mini golf and playground. We camped at Holiday Pines Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Susquehanna Campground, Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

After making reservations at this campground, I read some not so great reviews. But we kept an opened mind, willing to make the best of it. However, when we arrived we found the house at the main entrance is run down with broken windows, the entrance driveway is over some very rough train tracks, many of the sites down in the campground have junk and scrap all around, and the whole feeling of the place is just plain scary! We turned around and left immediately. (We did not stay at this park.) We camped at Susquehanna Campground in a Tent Trailer.
