Yakama Nation RV Park (Closed), Toppenish, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Price based on weekly rate. Open park, wide sites, level asphalt parking pads. Good electricity. 20 minutes to Yakima, closer to lots of wineries, fresh produce stands, within walking distance to Yakama Nation Casino (did not visit). Pleasant staff, clean well trimmed all around. Only downside I could see was a few monthly or probably much longer than monthly stays that have junk all around. Otherwise, very nice. Stayed two weeks. We camped at Yakama Nation RV Park (Closed) in a Fifth Wheel.

Trailer Inns RV Parks, Yakima, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

There is poor signage. The location is "in town", is not a plus; park is old looking, meaning sites too small for the most part and although the entrance seems ok maintenance wise the park itself is just "rough". There are rough roads with speeds bumps that are too large and too many. There are way too many, old permanent rigs with "stuff" sitting all around and skirted with old rotted plywood. It just seems like a squatters camp that accepts over night guests, but really if overnight business did not show up, well, everyone would be just as happy. We saw at least 4 "Gypsy" asphalter rigs just "hanging" around as they do and kids that "live" there running everywhere. The trees are so large and close together that I could not get a hint of a satellite signal. However, it is almost the only game in town and the electricity was stable and full amperage. We stayed three nights. We camped at Trailer Inns RV Parks in a Fifth Wheel.
