North Beach Camp Resort, St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

A beautiful campground, very private sites and right next to the ocean. Down side: they said Wi-Fi worked. It did not. We would stay again however if we were in the area. We camped at North Beach Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

Pecan Park RV Resort, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park was mostly cement pads, cement tables and nice grass. No trees, which was the downside, but the staff were really friendly and laundry was reasonable and fast. We'd definitely stay here again if we're in the area. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Kozy Kampers RV Park, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice and friendly staff, but this park is clearly set up for full-time residents. There are a few spots for over nighters, but it's not somewhere we'd return. We camped at Kozy Kampers RV Park in a Motorhome.

Narrows Too Camping Resort - Thousand Trails, Trenton, Maine

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Due to the fact that we're hitting some of these parks at the end of their season, the staff seem tired and ready to close (not very helpful) and in this park two of the three restrooms and showers were closed for the winter and that is very inconvenient for campers who have paid for these services. We camped here with a READY CAMP GO card which brought our rate down to half of what the going rate is. A little pricey for "off season". A beautiful place to visit, however, so we would definitely come back and camp here. Wi-Fi and cable were excellent, even during a major wind and rain storm. We camped at Narrows Too Camping Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

My Brother's Place Campground, Houlton, Maine

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was beautiful but needs a lot of updating, especially in the restrooms/showers and laundry room. Laundry room only had one working machine, so if there had been many people, it would have been difficult for folks to do laundry. The staff were very nice and very helpful. One recommendation for sure from us; have dinner at the COURTYARD CAFE and enjoy Joyce's homemade cooking! This was the highlight of our trip to Houlton, ME. We would camp here again if we're in the area. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Motorhome.

Sugar Ridge RV Village & Campground, Danville, Vermont

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park! The staff was very helpful by trying to get us in a site that had a good Wi-Fi signal, but it was not. The signal was very weak and the only way we could get one was to walk up the hill to the recreation area and wait till it came on for a few minutes. Otherwise this park is wonderful and I'm sure during the summer is the best! They have a horse-drawn carriage ride each morning, which is very nice. We would camp here again if we're in the area. We camped at Sugar Ridge RV Village & Campground in a Motorhome.

Good park and probably great during the "season." You can tell when staff are ready for the season to be over! We would camp here again if we're in the area. We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Hartwick Highlands Campground, Cooperstown, New York

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

What a great RV park! BIG spacious sites, some up on the hill overlooking the beautiful trees and others in the woods. The staff here goes over and above to help. This is a family-run park, and it's apparent that they have a great love for their work. The laundry works well, a little pricey at $3.00 to wash and a quarter for 6 minutes to dry. The Wi-Fi works very well, only wish there was a connection for cable TV. We will definitely come back. We camped at Hartwick Highlands Campground in a Motorhome.

Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort, Grand Island, New York

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Branches of Niagara is a beautiful RV park! It rained most of the time we've been here, but it's location is very close for a visit to Niagara Falls and I'm sure in the summer this place is very busy. The sites are very spacious and the bathrooms and showers are the cleanest I've seen. The only drawback is they only have ONE washer and ONE dryer, so for a full park, it would not be sufficient. No cable TV, but the WiFi worked very well. Very nice people working here as well and very helpful. We'd definitely return. We camped at Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort in a Motorhome.

Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA, Sallisaw, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This park was very nice and well maintained. We arrived right before a major storm with wind, rain, thunder and lightning. There were flash flood warnings throughout the night, and fortunately the cable stayed intact so we were able to stay on top of the weather warnings. We'd stay again at the Sallisaw/Fort Smith West KOA. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.

Twin Fountains RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is an absolutely beautiful RV park! The sites are spaced nicely with many trees and nice hills to make someone feel as though they are out in the woods somewhere, even though you're right in the middle of a city. The restrooms were large and very clean and the laundry room was spacious and had plenty of washers and dryers. The down sides: no cable, Wi-Fi stopped working and no one in the office could figure it out. We would stay again when visiting Oklahoma City. We camped at Twin Fountains RV Park in a Motorhome.

Elk City / Clinton KOA, Canute, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The Elk City/Clinton KOA is a lovely RV park. It has spacious sites with lots of grass and lots of trees. The manager was very nice and very helpful. She invited us to enjoy the barbecue dinner, which we did and also made sure that our site was near the Wi-Fi tower for the best reception. The bathrooms were small could stand some remodeling. The laundry room was located in the dining room, which seemed rather strange. The park is older, but has good potential. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Motorhome.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

The Oasis RV Resort was a very clean and well-managed park. We arrived there and found they were having a half-price special which made us very happy. The laundry rooms were very small, but very clean and the best part is they were totally free! We also enjoyed the barbecue that was provided for guests both nights we were there, for the small charge of $6.00. We will stay here again if we travel to Amarillo. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

American RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful RV park. The staff was very helpful and more than accommodating. The park had very clean restrooms and several places to do laundry that were very well kept. One of the nice perks was a lovely continental breakfast that was served in the dining room each morning. We will definitely stay in the American RV Park again when we travel to Albuquerque. We camped at American RV Resort in a Motorhome.
