Rose RV Park, Quartzsite, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Sand lot. They advertise full hookups, no wifi, no cable, had to pull electric & water under coach due to electric & water being on passenger side of coach not on driver side. No picnic tables, no restrooms. Here for RV show, told when we reserved it was easy walking distance to show. It was not. We camped at Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sky City RV Park, Acoma, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped at this campground after seeing large new billboard on I-40 eastbound advertising Sky City Casino and RV Park - there was a large red sign at the top of this billboard advertising RV sites $12 per night. When we arrived at Sky City RV Park the attendant said it was $19 per night, when we told her about the sign, she said she could not honor advertised rate. Accessible for large rigs, behind casino. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Krazy K RV Park, Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very bad roads coming into campground, the gravel roads within the campground have a lot of bumps and uneven. Don't think we would stay again. A better choice would have been to stay at the Casino parking lot at this exit. We camped at Krazy K RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rio Penasco R.V. Camp, Mayhill, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly campground owners & hosts, extremely friendly group of campers willing to help. There is a pavilion with summer activities and music. Also a propane campfire that is legal during burn ban. Campground is open, even though the forest is closed. The restrooms are spotless, a nice laundry with almost new washers. The office has a cell phone network booster and there is cell service for Verizon. Good Wi-Fi service. The Rio Penasco River runs on the south side of the campground and there, they say some fish for trout in the small river. We saw deer and turkey near the river. This is a hidden treasure. We camped at Rio Penasco R.V. Camp in a Motorhome.

Padre Balli Park, Corpus Christi, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Park has water and elecricity, but only has dump. The beach was was not clean, at a disadvantage due to red tide and dead fish. A bit pricey for a country park with no amenities. The night before we arrived, thefts were reported in the campground with camping items left outside or in the back of pick-ups. We camped at Padre Balli Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Eufaula State Park, Checotah, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Nice sites with trees. A bit pricey @ $23 a night just for water and electricity. They charge $10 for the site and an additional $13 for electricity. Corp of Engineer parks would be a much better choice for the price. We camped at Lake Eufaula State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
