Rancho Sedona RV Park, Sedona, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We had a back in site where everything worked as advertised. Good location in Sedona, but outside of the tourist area. Good check-in, quiet at night. A popular and good place for seeing Sedona. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.

Zion Canyon Campground & RV Park, Springdale, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Motor Homes have front-in parking. Everything worked as advertised. Park is adjacent to Quality Inn. Crowded because of its close location to Zion NP. Stayed here for Zion NP. Generally well run. Found women's rest room not clean. Men's OK. Rating based on location and hook-ups. A busy place, not a resort, but fine for being close to Zion. We camped at Zion Canyon Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

WillowWind RV Park, Hurricane, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Easy and friendly check-in. Our shaded site was a pull through. Everything worked as advertised. Sites included grass and one or two trees. A very pleasant three nights stay. One block off the main street, but no road noise. We'd definitely stay again. Personal checks or cash only. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Carson Valley RV Resort, Minden, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Our second visit. Pleasant check in. Everything worked well at our back in site. Pull through sites are not long enough for people to keep their cars hooked up. Very good restaurant in adjacent casino. Gas, and convenience store also adjacent. A busy place, but pleasant. We camped at Carson Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Silver City RV Resort, Minden, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This RV Park has an open setting in the Carson Valley. It has pull through sites, which are not long enough for our MH and attached small car and reach the hook ups at the rear of the site. All sites had hook ups in the extreme rear of the site. We could not connect our sewer hose because of the location of the hook ups. Everything else worked well. The Park was neat and clean everywhere. We planned on staying only one night and we did. I gave it a lower rating because of the lack of shade and hook up locations. We camped at Silver City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Forks 101 RV Park, Forks, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

As the name says, right on US Rt 101, across the road from a nice supermarket and hardware store. It was quiet as you camp way off the road. Everything worked. Desk people were very friendly. They said the wi-fi might not work a ways from the office, but it worked fine for me. Level grass sites. Restrooms were old but clean. The only drawback is that the RV park shares a road with a series of old trailers that were not part of the RV park. Nevertheless, they are a bit of an eyesore, though we had no contact with the residents and nothing would leave us to believe they’d be any problem at all. This was a stopover park for us and the only choice we found in Forks with full hook ups. If we were passing that way again, we’d stay again. We camped at Forks 101 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gilgal Oasis RV Park, Sequim, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly and helpful owners. A very nice place. Easy to find near downtown Sequim. Paved sites, with grass mowed in between. Everything worked. Internet is via DSL and you run a line (that is provided) into your rig, via a window. DSL was very fast and reliable. Restrooms were as clean as home and new looking. A very good choice for visiting the area. However, there are no “activities” or pool or such. Laundry was as clean as restrooms. Though one block from the main street, there was no noise. Easy and comfortable for touring Port Townsend, Sequim and Port Angeles. We stayed 6 nights. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rain Forest Resort Village, Quinault, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice setting on Lake Quinault in the midst of Lake Quinault Resort. All sites are grass. There is no sewer or dump station near. It is good for one or two days. They don’t take reservations. They say they never sell out. Pick out your site. Go pay in the office. The bathrooms were clean. There is a nine hole golf course down the road. It is nothing special, but we’d go back when in the area if we needed a site for one or two nights. We camped in a 30' motor home. A few bigger rigs were present, but access is paved, but a bit narrow and down hill. Unhitch your tow first at the adjacent restaurant parking lot. Once you are in, there is plenty of room. We camped at Rain Forest Resort Village in a Motorhome.
