Indian Hills KOA, Russell Springs, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Park gets high score for being friendly, away from road noise, clean, well organized. One mile away (over the hill) is a marina that sits on beautiful Lake Cumberland. Fish, boat, swim all in one huge lake. We will return. We camped at Indian Hills KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Staunton / Walnut Hills KOA, Staunton, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This park is definitely a get away from it all campground. It is quiet and cozy. The lake has good fishing. We camped along the lake. Shady sites, with gravel and grass. Has a fire ring at each site for those of you who do all your cooking outside, like we do. The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. We were there over the 4th of July and they had a pancake breakfast on the weekend, along with hay rides and games for the kids to compete in. We will be going back again next year. We were here for 8 days. We camped at Staunton / Walnut Hills KOA in a Travel Trailer.
