We stayed here a couple of years ago when we took the ferry to Nfld. This time we chose just to stay in the area. Owners were super friendly and helpful: directed us to our site overlooking the water. Lovely walks with or without your pets. Many extras including a fish and chip wagon on site. Mmmm! They have a large recreation hall with fitness equipment and a jacuzzi . Sites were large and accessible. We would definitely stay again.

This was an amazing find: probably the most outstanding value on our month's vacation. There were quite a few permanents, but they were in another area (what a beautiful walk). Everything was immaculate and the welcome was friendly. The pools was lovely, too. There were many structures in the playground for kids. Lots of spots to walk dogs. Laundromat was large, light and reasonable. We had hoped to get 50 amp and were struggling in the extreme heat with 30, but we had free cable and great Wi-Fi reception. A true bargain. And it's located near the highway interchange (noise didn't bother us), gas and shopping.

As mentioned by others, the real plus to this campground is its location. It was reasonable and very well maintained. Washrooms were cleaned frequently. There was a new laundry. There was a restaurant on site and an awesome ice cream bar (many passers-by dropped in for a cone). There were lots of interesting playground items for the kids including a teepee and wagon one could rent and sleep in. The main draw back was the length and approach of the pull-through sites. We barely made it on and the turns were very tight given the other rigs parked. I think they could fix this up by allowing folk to park across 2 sites. (We saw 1 large motorhome doing this). We would probably stay there again
