Diamond Lake Resort, Owensboro, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Very large and spread out park. Sights are a little tight. Many seasonal and long term residents, but all the rigs appear to be well maintained. Lots and lots of golf carts! WiFi is extra and is supplied by one of the residents. $5.00 for 72 hours. Staff and residents are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. We camped at Diamond Lake Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Friendly staff. Park is within 50 or 60 feet of the Mississippi River. No trees in this section because it is in the flood plain. Nice to see and hear towboats with barges going up and down river at all hours. I would stay here again. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sunland RV Resorts/Vacationer RV Resort, El Cajon, California

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a bit crowded as all southern California parks we have stayed in are, but we navigated (25' truck with 30' trailer) through it without any problems. Ask for site 114. Staff at the office is a jewel and made our stay exceptional. We will stay here again, if ever in the San Diego area again. We camped at Sunland RV Resorts/Vacationer RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Las Quintas Oasis RV Resort (55+ park), Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Very large park. Arrived late after office had closed. Cable TV was marginal. Didn't have a code, so couldn't connect. Called office in the morning and they gave it to me right away. Water connection leaked at their back-flow preventer. Space was very large. Would stop here again. We camped at Las Quintas Oasis RV Resort (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Jamaica Beach RV Park, Galveston, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park in a good location. Friendly staff. The park has a new and old section. I stayed in the new one. The only negative is the sewer connections. They are to the rear of the space and quite tall. I had to change spaces because of that. On fellow told me that he had to use 35 feet of sewer hose. I will stay here again, but will make sure that I have a lot of sewer hose. We camped at Jamaica Beach RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice quiet park near Travis County Expo Center. Friendly office staff. All utilities work well. AC is slightly low at 114. Price reflects military discount. I would stay here again. We camped at Oak Forest RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn), Terlingua, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

It is a very basic park, with small trees and not much grass. We had 2.5" of rain our last night and everything was a muddy mess for move out. WiFi is not available anywhere in the park. The park could use some maintenance. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Travel Trailer.

Belton RV Park, Belton, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

By far the worst park we stayed in this trip. Park in no longer connected with KOA. Interior roads were very narrow and all torn up. Spaces were very tight and not level. Trees in sites need to be trimmed. Had to pull trough the next site to be able to turn to leave. Sewer connection was 12" above the ground. TL listing shows WiFi, but that is not true. TV reception on the antenna was OK. We camped at Belton RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Shady Pines RV Park, Texarkana, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I too would give this park a "10", but for the very limited cable TV service. 6 channels! Largest and most attractive space that I have had in the last three weeks of travel. I would stay here again. We camped at Shady Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Convenient place for an overnight stop between Nashville and Memphis. Typical KOA. Tight spaces, but everything works. Very friendly staff. WiFi works in space 41, but I doubt it will reach any further into the park. We camped at Buffalo / I-40 KOA in a Motorhome.

Beautiful Park. Nice landscaping. Spaces are a bit tight, but not as tight as the KOA we stayed at last night. Pull-thru site is level and long. Friendly check-in. We camped at Creekside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
