Mt Hood Village RV Resort, Welches, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Our site was not raked, fire pit had wine bottle, papers plastic stuff. Was just long enough our 36 5th wheel, had to park along the road. No other area to park your vehicle. Power, water and sewer all good. Except the cable cord was just barely sticking out of the ground next to power center. Almost didn't think there was cable have never seen anything like that. This is also a thousand trails so they stop by to tell you about it. Noise from Hwy 27 is loud as the back in is right on the hwy. Was ok late at night. Site somewhat level. Check in was easy. I did complain regarding the dirty fire pit and they came right away and cleaned it up. It's an attractive location we needed something that had cabins because we had friends staying along with us. Would not recommend the tiny houses they offer our friends not much room. Oh RV site came with stink bugs and were still killing them after 3 days. Which you have no control over this in a forest area. We camped at Mt Hood Village RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

McCloud RV Resort, McCloud, California

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

we stayed 1 nite. Park closes end of October. Very nice park. Front desk was very helpful as we decided to get pull thru. Some road noise but get quiet later in evening. Lots of pine trees. Verizon works great. Water pressure good, cable tv good, power good. Sewer by water/power. the park was under another name "Dance RV park". Directions are confusing as you see the Dance RV sign and you think you can pull in there, that was old entrance. From I-5 its 10 miles on 89 till you get to intersection of McCloud turn right. No signs to alert you at least we didn't see it. Fuel is available right across the street from campground. We will stay here again. It beautiful here in the fall a little chilly too! We camped at McCloud RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Delta Shores Resort and Marina, Isleton, California

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This is a membership park; our gift was a free week for listening. Park is large, some residents live here as full time as they are in another section. Check in was easy, staff friendly. Long 40 ft sites, grass, picnic table, some sewer connections are high in ground. Site can be uneven in ground. Quiet area, no train, airport noise. Great boating if you have a boat. Staff very friendly. Park very quiet. Power and water all good. All hook up in center as well as dump. Sites level and gravel. They have a water truck twice a day to keep dust down. Some shade area's are tall pines. If you need clearing for satellite center of site map best for that. Verizon signal about 2 bars works good over air TV signal ok too. Great park and location for visiting the area. We camped at Nevada County Fairgrounds RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Blue Sky Ranch RV Park (formerly Arizona Sands RV Park) (55+ Park), Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Power good, water. over the air TV reception good. Verizon and Mifi good. Good location as in the middle of area for touring. Close to Arizona Market place. The reason for the #7 was the traffic noise was bad. The location is on 32nd st (Business 8) there is also train noise but not bad. Our site was close to street maybe if it was in the middle. Even during the day it was hard to sit outside. It never let up at night. Our neighbors didn't seem to mind the noise. If you sensitive to noise this park may not work for you. The park is very nice and clean. Pickleball park, curling, shuffleboard. Hot tub and swimming pool very clean. Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Lots of permanent residence. Gravel roads which create a lot of dust. Landscaping very minimal and not kept up. Sites are wide and gravel. Water electric sure were adequate. We camp with a group and have a clubhouse for use was OK. Staff was friendly and check in and helpful. Don't think it deserves a Good Sam rating that it gets park needs a little more TLC upgrade. Would not stay here again. Verizon and mifi worked good. We camped at Vineyard RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Wind River RV Park, Riverton, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very hard to read small street signs coming in on 26 hwy . Check-in was easy and owner was friendly. The park might be in need of a little yard touching up. Given that there a a few planters with flowers to give a nice touch. Gravel sites and level pull-throughs. Connections good and locations good too! Checked out the bath/restrooms, were super clean. Timers on showers. Quiet from hwy and no railroad noise! Verizon and Mifi worked great. We would stay here again. Oh, sites are spaced OK, as they are opposite. Good if you travel with another couple and want to face each other doors. Tables at sites in good shape and painted. We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

You need to enter the driveway to Sopko and Best Western and register at the hotel. You can get all you can eat breakfast for $6.00 at the hotel but you need to let them know. Massacre Rocks State Park, American Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Great staff, very friendly! Very historic park. For larger rigs sites are limited. We were in Lower campground which is closer to Snake river. The site was somewhat level; had to use a lot to get level and front end jacks up high. Roads are gravel. If there were a lot of traffic it could be dusty. Sites are spaced apart, which are nice and private. Sites 38 and 42 (great views) was all I that noticed for larger rigs 36'+. Good power and water. Dump station. Roads are a little narrow. We would stay here again. We camped in a 36ft 5th with 3 slides and it work out well. Staff seem to check the campgrounds on their rounds. Restrooms very clean! Was glad we stayed here as we read the reviews from previous review about the park. Don't miss it. We camped at Massacre Rocks State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park, staff friendly. easy check in. The sites are close together but nice if you are traveling with someone as the sites are opposite directions so you can have your exit doors facing each other. Sites are fairly level. Power was good. Water hookups good, sewer locations good. Verizon and mifi work great. Quiet area very faint noise from freeway and trains. The store is stock with RV items and they have propane. We were there when the historic museum was closed but looks interesting. Winnemucca seems to have a lot going on every month, hot air baloons, motorcycle etc. We stayed two day so we could visit the area was worth the effort.

We stayed for 2 months that is the $22 a night rate. Staff was wonderful, park has undergone a lot of upgrades. Pool and spas were clean. Not good wifi as you had to pay daily rate, and it was not that good. No cable but over the air is good. Verizon worked great. Power was good, water pressure was good. Sites are either sandy or gravel. Easy to use and good space between sites. News was the park has been sold and may be a KOA. We camped at Palm Springs / Joshua Tree KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
