Cordele KOA, Cordele, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Even though the park looked nice, we couldn't enjoy it because of the bugs. There were gnats and flies everywhere and at all times of the day. You couldn't use the pool or even sit outside. It was horrible. We had booked three nights but left after two because of the bugs. We told the management why we were leaving but they made no attempt to provide a refund for the last day. We would have rated it higher but those bugs totally ruined our stay. We camped at Cordele KOA in a Motorhome.

Asheville East KOA, Swannanoa, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is very picturesque. It has its own lake where you can fish but it also has a pretty large stream running through it. To fish in the stream you need a license. If you don't have a big rig you can camp along either the lake or the stream. Very nice. Unfortunately we had a big rig but still enjoyed our site. The place is ideally located near Ashville where the Biltmore house is located. The one bad thing was that it's right near a train crossing so that train whistles woke us up several times each night starting very early in the morning. We camped at Asheville East KOA in a Motorhome.
