Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this campground! We have 3 children, ages 2, 4 and 6 and there were plenty of things to do. The sites were large: even had a nice shelter in each one which we really appreciated in August. The pools and the lazy river were sparkly clean as were the bathhouses. The restaurant and snack bars were also a great plus. The grocery store was well stocked and clean. We spent most of our time at the beach and all the tourist attractions: which were all very close by. If you have small children, the children's museum is great! I liked the fact that no motorcycles are allowed in the park. Even though we have 8 of them at home: I don't want to hear them roaring through a campground. We really enjoyed our stay here. The only complaint was the lousy internet access, even outside of our motorhome. It rarely worked at all and when it did: it was sloooow. I wouldn't normally complain, except the service was an extra $10/day, so it should have worked much better. We've stayed in many campgrounds and I would rank this as one of the top 5. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.
