Pines RV Park, Franklin, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This place is a dump. We won't go back, it is dirty and nosiy. There is no laundry, pool, propane, campstore. The people working here are rude and not helpful at all. We like the Franklin area, but not this campground. We camped at Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is the most beautiful campground. The staff is so friendly and helpful. This KOA is a great place for kids. The diner has the best food. We had dinner and breakfast. We are making plans to go back soon! We camped at Hagerstown / Antietam Battlefield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

The campground is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly, helpful and nice. The campground was packed but everyone had plenty of room. They have a nice diner and serve wonderful food. You can have the food delivered to your site. We had breakfast and dinner and enjoyed every bite. The gardens are just breathtaking. We will go back for sure! We camped at Hagerstown / Antietam Battlefield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Franklin RV Park & Campground, Franklin, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park is ok if you want to stay inside your camper. There is not much room for outside living. The ticks are horrible. You can hear traffic all day and night from the highway and the neighbors across the street are rude and loud. We like Franklin, just not this RV park. You are parked in a field. They have no pool, laundry, playground or campstore. I guess it is a nice place if you only stay a night or two and you're out sightseeing all day. We found better parks in the area and will go to one of those next year. We have travelled all over the USA, and stayed in nice parks, this is not one of them. We camped at Franklin RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tremont Outdoor Resort, Townsend, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice campground, they nickel and dime you to death. You pay extra for everything. We like the KOA next door, the campground is nicer and the price is much better. The one thing that really bothered me was the employees standing outside the office smoking, it looks nasty and they stink! The young lady working in the office was very nice and friendly. The campground is clean and the river sites are OK, there is a road just past the river sites, and sometimes it was noisy. We camped at Tremont Outdoor Resort in a Motorhome.
