Holly Shores Camping Resort, Cape May, New Jersey

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this campground for a week for the NJ State Fireman's Convention and we had a great time. They have rules yes but they are clearly stated and if you follow those rules you will have no problems. The staff was very courteous and well organized. We will definitely stay there again next year. We camped at Holly Shores Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Pennsylvania Dutch Campsites, Bernville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $36.00

Well what can I say about this place? Hello and welcome to the dump! This place is like a mud pit because they have a lot of the place dug up to supposedly put in sewer. According to some seasonals we talked to while staying there it has been like that since April. The playground is old and very rundown. Some of the seasonal sites look nice but the majority of the sites look like they came out of a horror movie they have trash every where. To say we would NEVER stay there again is an understatement. We camped at Pennsylvania Dutch Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.

Drummer Boy Camping Resort, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This Resort used to be a lot nicer but it is still okay. The Wi-Fi that they have there is horrendous at best for $6.00 for 24 hours and it doesn't work the majority of the time. The staff was very courteous and friendly. We were in the 300 sites and we had no problem with highway noise but really what can the Resort do about highway noise anyway? The only true downfall with this Resort now is they seem to nickel and dime you for every little thing. Water slide and Wi-Fi among other things. We camped at Drummer Boy Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

North Pole Resorts, Wilmington, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this campground. It was close to Lake Placid and all of the area attractions. The price was very reasonable considering how close it is to Lake Placid. The scenery of the Adirondacks is breathtaking. If we are ever back in Lake Placid we will definitely stay at this Campground again. It had some of the cleanest rest rooms and laundry we think that we have ever seen. We camped at North Pole Resorts in a Fifth Wheel.
