We have not stayed in this park for a number of years and will not unless under new ownership. From the posts I just read in 2009, nothing has changed. We were told there were some "creeks" that the children might enjoy..more like small drainage ditches that were kind of hard to find. No shade and not much of anything else for the kind of money they charged. My advice would be to visit Virginia City, then head back to Dillon or maybe Bannack. It is a nice "Ghost town" and has camping. Sure hope you will not judge a Montana visit by these people.

I'm unsure of the rates but it was a nice little park. It is aligned with a nice little motel. The staff was friendly, they offered us information and ice. They have a nice view from the camping area, sites were side by side but enough room for comfort. I believe there were only about a dozen spaces but it was very quiet. It is very near the restored Fort, and not far from the main street of tiny Fort Davis. I would stay here first if I were to return to Fort Davis.
