RedRock RV Park, Island Park, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

We called ahead to stay here. When we arrived it was way off the beaten path and not close to anything: nothing what we wanted. When we told them we did not want to stay they proceeded to charge us for 2 nights for both spaces. At no time did they indicate you must pay for your entire stay if you change your mind! One night is typical everywhere else. Camper beware of this! We are not happy at all! We camped at RedRock RV Park in a Motorhome.

A beautiful campground with just the right amount of rustic, blended with amenities. Wonderfully close to the lake and visitor center. Great selection in the store and gift shop. The RV park was very clean and well kept. We wouuld definitely go back! We camped at Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) in a Fifth Wheel.

Fishing Bridge Campground (NPS Campground), Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

As far as location and proximity to attractions in the park, I would give it a 10. However, it is like being in a parking lot. You have no space to set up anything outside your tent, but then again you won't want to be outside in the summer months. The mosquitoes are terrible! So overall it gets a 6! We camped at Fishing Bridge Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.
