Shady Grove Campground, Seibert, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

No cable TV available, no service available in town. TV reception is ran from antenna on top of site owners house, not good reception. Says they have Wi-Fi but could not get it to work. Bathrooms and showers were clean but showers were really small. Owners are really friendly. Would stay again. Price was using Passport America. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Shawnee Campgrounds, Topeka, Kansas

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Only reason to give a 9 is there are no sewer hookups. Great kept secret that should be known about. The local people should be proud of this park being that it is only a County park. If you are close by be sure to camp here and give your view. We camped at Lake Shawnee Campgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

Little Patch of Heaven (formerly Holt's Campground), Bardstown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We would have given this campground a higher rating but because the restrooms were not maintained and in dire need of repair, we scored it lower. We stayed here a week and we never saw anyone go to clean or supply with paper, but it did have good pressure of hot water. Fixtures were missing or broken and no chairs or benches to sit on, no place to hang your towels no soap to wash your hands. Lake needs to be stocked if you want to enjoy catching fish. They supply wood for a campfire. Friendly people. We camped at Little Patch of Heaven (formerly Holt's Campground) in a Travel Trailer.
