This is not the prettiest RV park we ever stayed at and we have stayed at a lot of them. We're about at the end of a 3-month around-the-country trip. This RV park was one of the best we stayed at. Yes, the sites are mostly all gravel. It's in the desert, duh. The sites were long enough to park our motorhome along with our flatbed trailer that we haul our car with. The site was double wide so we had a place to park the car after we took it off the trailer. Not all of the cable channels were clear as a bell, but they did have cable. Many of the parks we stayed in this summer did not have cable. The free Wi-Fi was a bit slow, but it was there and usable. We were offered a free DVD rental for our stay and we took advantage of that. There is an indoor swimming pool. There was a Sunday night free movie shown with free popcorn. The staff was very friendly. What more can we say? Not the prettiest, but one of the very best at providing what we needed. Anytime we are back in the Carlsbad area we will be sure to stay there again.

This is by far one of the very best parks in which we've stayed during our 3-month trip this summer. We went back there after having stayed there in 2007. This park is very clean and excellently maintained. Our motorhome and flatbed trailer carrying our car (60') fit nicely into a pull-through site. They even sell discounted tickets for many of the Branson shows. We will go back there for sure anytime we return to Branson. Thank you ABC.

This resort is the "last resort" and we had no other choices in the area. This was as close as we could get to McGuire Air Force Base, where my son is stationed. The sites were long, but nowhere near level. Lots and lots of sand and rocks. Picnic tables covered with mold. Everything was old and falling apart. The whole place looked like a junk yard for old RVs. They had lots of unfriendly rules. For example, if I wanted to have my military son and his wife over for dinner, the "resort" wanted to charge them $10 each to enter the park. It was so patriotic I wanted to puke. Every Wal-Mart parking lot I've ever stayed in beat this place, hands down. I'll never stay there again. I gave this place a rating of 2 only because the site was long enough and the hookups worked.
