Wonderful park, easy access, limited highway noise, amazing views of the valley and Organ Pipe mountains, WiFi, and clean bathrooms. Big rig friendly (40' RV plus 20' trailer). Our 3rd time here, and will stay again. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Motorhome.

Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground, Buellton, California

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice park in a wonderful location. Convenience to highway is nice, but that means some highway noise. Rated as a 8 due to value considerations. Nice park, but moderately expensive, and no discounts offered. We camped at Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Cypress Morro Bay RV & MHP, Morro Bay, California

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent place to stay! Small park right in town, 2 blocks from waterfront and hundreds of restaurants. They were able to accommodate us in a 40 foot, Class A with 20 foot trailer! Owned by the same family for many years. Very friendly and helpful! This was one of the better park experiences we have had! Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Cypress Morro Bay RV & MHP in a Motorhome.

Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve, Santee, California

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Great location! Easy to get to the park and quick to get out to the area attractions from the park. Situated at the end of up a shallow canyon, so it is quiet, apart from occasional military jets (Miramar). The sites are absolutely enormous, some with lake-side setting. The one downside, the internet was up and down more than a yo-yo! If you need internet (I work on the road), bring your own cellular Wi-Fi. My wife has her own laptop, and could not get a decent enough connection to download simple text emails. It is frustrating, even if just to check email. We camped at Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve in a Motorhome.

Walnut Grove RV Park, Merriam, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is my first 1 rating ever! I can always find something redeeming about a park. Not this one. HORRIBLE! Good luck getting in. If you do get in, good luck getting level. And then good luck getting back out. Smallest spaces of any park I have been in. We had booked it, and then heard rumor that it was not good. So we called them back to make sure we could get a big rig in there. They lied and said "Oh yes, it is easy with big sites." Do NOT stay here! Don't even call. Just don't bother. Really bad We camped at Walnut Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice little park. However, very noisy at night, due to the neighborhood. Park has nice and helpful owners, very good internet, easy in and out. Also a nice recreational area and dog walk. Good price. We camped at Pair-A-Dice RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Spruce Grove Resort, Fairmont Hot Springs, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Fairmont Hot Springs is much less crowded than Radium, so it's a good place to relax. This park is right on the highway, so expect some noise. Night traffic is very modest, so it is livable. All of the W\E\S hookups are right by the road, but there are many sites well off the road and very quiet, very private. Internet works well in the several sites near the road, but not the more remote ones! Would stay again for a short stay. We camped at Spruce Grove Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Wow! What a serene and beautiful location. An easy 2 miles off the interstate, right on the Columbia River. Watch ships travel the river, listen to coyotes at night and even catch glimpse of Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Hood! We give it three thumbs and two paws up! We camped at Columbia Riverfront RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

An excellent location! It's expensive, but arguably worth it. Internet is via satellite and can be very slow. Verizon is the only cell phone provider in area. Glorious and simply unbeatable views! We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
