Large campground in the heart of Yellowstone National Park. Pull-through sites available, but on one way loops that leave the door on the wrong side. Needed to use blocks to level the coach. Restrooms were very clean. Staff is very friendly. One lane dump station is available.

Nice CG with 5 camping areas. We camped in the Island area. Wi-Fi is marginal in some sites. Staff is friendly. Great access to the hills and Mount Rushmore. View is outstanding. As others mentioned, campfires out by 11pm. Camp store is well stocked. Pool area is clean.

Nice park. Great view. You can rent a boat and go fishing. Store on site. Electric service is solid with no voltage drop. The view of the lake and mountains is the best. A bit of a drive from the west entrance, but lots of wildlife viewing on the way. Owner is friendly. I would stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Location, location location. Large enough for big rigs. Nice site next to meadow. Lots of wildlife including Moose. Good spacing between campsites. No cell phone access makes it perfect!

Great view of the tower. Showers had plenty of hot water. Camp store was well stocked. Staff was friendly. Lots of room between sites. Park is well maintained. Lots of bikers (bike week). We have stayed here before and would again.

Very nice State Park with lots of hiking trails. Waterfalls abound in this park. Most of the campsites are on the smaller side. Many of them will not accommodate a large tow vehicle trailer combination. A few sites will easily accommodate a larger camper / 5th wheeler. No electric sites at this state park. Dump station is well placed. Friendly / helpful staff. Campground is within 5 miles of Grand Marais MN. Lots to do and see in the area.

Date of Stay:

One of the larger State Parks in MN. Friendly park staff. Lots of room between sites. More room between non electric sites. Clean shower house. Road is well maintained. No problem for big rigs. Lots of wildlife. Only thing missing is a dump station.

Stayed overnight on the way from the Black Hills. Bathrooms were the cleanest that I have seen in a long time. Grounds were well maintained. Owner was very friendly and helpful. We will make this a stop over every trip to the hills.

Very large State Park. Campsites are large enough for big rigs. D loop is the electric loop. Wildlife abundant. Paved walking / bike trail runs through the park. Very nice campground.

Date of Stay:

Large State Park. Electric loop gets crowded in the summer. Non electric loops have large campsites. Shower buildings are clean. Lots of bear activity the past few years. Playground for kids.

Date of Stay:

Nice park with water and dump station available. 30 amp is available in some sites. Plenty of room between the campsites. Lots of shade trees in the park.

Date of Stay:

Madison is a very good location for viewing the park. Reservations required. Know the overall length of your trailer and truck. This campground can accommodate larger rigs, but be sure to call ahead. No electric or showers available. Flush toilets on site. 3 stall dump station on site. Ice and firewood available. Park rules enforced. Bison viewing is great. Campground allows generators.

Date of Stay:

Very nice state park with lake access. Campground has some electric sites. Non electric sites seem a bit larger. Good space in between sites. Park offers boat rentals with electric motors. Good fishing lake. Dump station and water are available. Enough room for truck and 26 foot trailer.
