Economy Inn & RV Park, Ozona, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Manager was very friendly. However, this is strictly a no frills stopover. Sites were gravel and not level. Basically a parking lot. Sites were fairly tight, but we did have a pull through. We have a big rig, so that was helpful. No amenities. The town of Ozona is to be avoided if possible. Our battery died on our tow vehicle. You do have to disconnect. The gentleman who showed up charged us $45 for a jump. Really. We camped at Economy Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Majestic Oaks RV Resort, Biloxi, Mississippi

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park with level sites. They are fairly narrow. Used to rate this park a 10. However, they have let the landscaping go. We actually had to cut back palm branches ourselves after notifying the office that they were making a lot of noise brushing the roof of our RV. Additionally, there are a lot of snowbirds who stay the entire season. They were friendly. However, some of them seem to think that they own the park. One person had a green area fenced off at the end of a road. Additionally, there were cars and a huge truck parked in the access roads. Kind of hard to dodge them in a large motorhome. Office manager is a gem. Will stay again. Very nice park. We camped at Majestic Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Louisville South KOA, Shepherdsville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $70.00

Fabulous family oriented RV park with a lot of amenities. The playground (which we had no need for) is wonderful. The pool is very nice. The hot tub is inside, very large, clean and works wonderfully well. The park is clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Easy in and out. Only complaint is a little bit of airport noise. Airport is not really close, but there is some flight path noise. We camped at Louisville South KOA in a Motorhome.

Fort De Soto Campground, Tierra Verde, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park. Friendly staff. Great beach access. Narrrow roads and lots of low hanging branches. Not really big rig friendly no matter what the staff says. Our site totally flooded after an all night rain. I am talking at least 4 inches of water. Probably will not go back in a big rig. If you have a tent or pop up - go for it. We camped at Fort De Soto Campground in a Motorhome.

Atlanta South RV Resort , Mcdonough, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $30.00

Not a horrible park, but a little run down. Roads were a bit narrow for a big rig. Lots of trees. Site was not level. Probably would not stay there again unless absolutely necessary. Too tight for my taste. Staff was friendly. We camped at Atlanta South RV Resort in a Motorhome.
