OH! Kentucky Campground & RV Park, Berea, Kentucky

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped by this place two years ago and can't believe how it has gone to pot! Empty pool with weeds and trees growing in it. Activities room was locked up tight. Laundry was the only machines for park customers AND the people who own or manage the place, even though they live in a home there. Weird. The park was in major need of mowing and TLC. It was sad. We camped at OH! Kentucky Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

6 nights of expensive full hook-up was not worth 4 days of flooded camp-site. we were truly disappointed with the what used to be a "magical disney touch" for atmosphere. there was some sort of safety issue going on for a few nights, what it was they would not tell us, but with security people and vehicles every few minutes- looking around werely, we were worried. roads are tight and we had to try a second campsite to fit. not sure what is going on with landscaping, bare and unsightly. will not be back for this price. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp Gulf, Miramar Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

A great place: has something and is a place of enjoyment, for everyone! It's very clean and well kept. Was nice to have a choice between two pools and/or the beautiful, white sand beach. The sites are snug but I have seen much worse. We had two different sites at the front of the campground, and found them to be fine for roominess. Some of the workers could use a more pleasant attitude when dealing with people, or find something else to do! But we didn't cowtail to any grumps! We camped at Camp Gulf in a Fifth Wheel.

Nashville KOA, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here in 06, and the campground has gone downhill and we won't here again. Unkept sites with branches and unlevel-patched blacktop. Hubby had three Ticks drop out of the trees above our site in a matter of hours and bite him. We feared if a good storm came along the tree abouve our site might loose some huge limbs since they were dead. We left after one day (wanted to go first day). We camped at Nashville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We were originally going near the lake until we learned two gators were living there. It was nice with extra things to do and close to DW. We camped at Tropical Palms Resort and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful area. Would be nice if there were more of a beach connected to the water. There is a nice beach spot up above the water though. We camped at Navarre Beach Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground, Asheville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2006 - $41.00

Made a reservation 4 weeks ahead of time and within two days called to cancel due to change in plans for a different campground in area. Cancellation was made a month ahead of arrival and they charged my card a 5.00 fee!? Not a good business practice...BEWARE! I'll never go for this one again. We camped at Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Monroe Co. / Toledo North KOA, Petersburg, Michigan

Date of Stay: October, 2004 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Swimming water is a natural water pond and looks smucky. Lots of trees, which is great for shade, but also creates an umbrella effect for all the smoke from campfires. We were there for Halloween and I haven't been back because the smoke was so bad. We camped at Monroe Co. / Toledo North KOA in a Travel Trailer.
