American RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. This is an excellent park with landscaped, paved, level sites. There is a pool and spa with is extremely nice. A complimentary continental breakfast is provided each morning. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, which is very important to us. The park is located right off the interstate and across from Camping World. The only negative is that the access to the internet was poor. We would definitely stay here again!!! We actually met someone on their way to Albuquerque and I recommended they stay at American. Very, very nice park We camped at American RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

J & H RV Park (55 + Park), Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. The pull-through sites were nicely maintained, long enough for a 5th wheel and truck, but we prefer more distance between campers, too close to your neighbors. The park was very clean, neat, and tidy with many interesting common areas: an outdoor fireplace, recreation area, game room, reading/TV room, laundry room, and an outside sitting area with gliders by a calming water fountain. Park is close to gas station, RV repair center, and grocery store although there is nothing within walking distance. One previous review commented that the signs were comical, both my husband and I found the to be annoying and somewhat offensive. We have stayed at many, many campgrounds and have always found the owners to be very pleasant and accommodating. The owner of this park was extremely unfriendly. Many mornings he would actually turn the other way instead of greeting us. Probably would not stay here again for this reason. Would give our business to someone who at least appears to appreciate it. We camped at J & H RV Park (55 + Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Cabela's RV Park & Campground, Sidney, Nebraska

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is an extremely nice, convenient RV park located right off the interstate. Perfect for a one night stay when traveling. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were very well kept, sites were level, and the park is located in an area where many services are within walking distance (RV dealer, restaurants, convenience stores, gas stations, and of course Cabela's). They even have a corral for those of you that travel with your horses! We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Cabela's RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Highly recommend this park. Only minutes away from West Yellowstone gate, restaurants, shops, etc. A well-planned, attractive, meticulously maintained RV park. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Our site was landscaped with a concrete sidewalk and concrete patio area. The laundry area was spotless, as were the restrooms. If you are going to Yellowstone, I highly recommend this one! We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Kansas City East Trailside RV Park, Grain Valley, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

My husband and I have been RVing for over 7 years now, and this is one of the worst RV parks we have visited. We were assigned a site surrounded by run-down campers that appeared to be lived in year round. Flat tires, no license plates, filthy, on and on. When we attempted to pull into our site we were inches from hitting someone's satellite dish that was set up on our spot. Someone Else's potted tomato plant was in front of our picnic table. Needless to say, we were extremely uncomfortable leaving our RV to get dinner. Would not recommend this RV park to anyone. Not sure how in the world this park came to be listed as a Good Sam Campground. Must have been an error. It was awful. We camped at Kansas City East Trailside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
