Tallahassee RV Park, Tallahassee, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, quiet park. It was almost full of permanent residents. Only about 10 available pull thru sites. Call ahead and check for availability. The lady taking reservations was very rude when I entered the office. I tried to be quiet, but she completely ignored me. Fortunately, another staff member came in and checked me in. We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Motorhome.

Quiet and close to shopping. The park is not well marked and is on the right side. GPS has is on the other side of the street. It is an older park, tight fit to get out. Call ahead, not many available overnight spaces.

Savannah South KOA, Richmond Hill, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Great family park close to Savannah. Quiet at night and not much road noise. Easy in and tricky getting out in a big rig. Some sites have nice patios and all have picnic tables. There is a huge lake with many swans and ducks. Nice to look at. All of the permanent residents are in the back out of the way. We camped at Savannah South KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

You can catch the trolley that tours old Savannah right at the park office. It is an all day tour, plan accordingly. The camp store had everything you needed plus some local honey and souvenirs. The staff was really friendly and were helpful when we needed a repair service. We would stay here again.

Magnolia RV Park Resort, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park with many permanent residents. Some of the units are older with clutter around them. The office manager was very nice and checked out our site before we pulled in. It was convenient to the Vicksburg Military site. Easy in and out of the park. We camped at Magnolia RV Park Resort in a Motorhome.

Close to casinos and to the Military Park. The Tomato stand nearby has great produce and is a Deli worth eating their Cuban Sandwich. We would stay there again.

This is a great family park. The campsites are close together. There is a swimming beach and water activities. Quiet, but it is close to Alexandria for shopping. I would stay again, but in a different site. We camped at Indian Creek Recreation Area Louisiana in a Motorhome.

Whispering Oaks RV Park (Formerly Columbus KOA), Weimar, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Nice and friendly campground. Some long term residents sprinkled throughout the park. Noisy with highway and train. No cable TV and poor local reception. We have stayed here several times, not sure we will stay again. Price is too high for what you get. We camped at Whispering Oaks RV Park (Formerly Columbus KOA) in a Motorhome.

Nice park and friendly staff. Cable is good, store has a variety of items. Deer roam through the park and lots of birds for bird watchers. Garbage pickup all day when office is open. Small town with nice people. We have stayed here for several weeks and will stay again. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

RiverBend RV Park and Campground, Luling, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Cute park with a lot of full time residents. There were only a few sites available for overnight stays. Sites were level and our 42 ft. motorhome fit with room for the towed. On exit, there are low hanging limbs and vehicles parked on the road made it hard to get out. We also had to pay $10 for our friends to come visit. I can see paying in the summer, but not the winter for an hour long visit. We camped at RiverBend RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Baytown / Galveston Bay KOA, Baytown, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice older park with a lot of permanent rigs. There is a tricky turn around at the office that is not big rig friendly. We had to disconnect the car to get around. Our site (97) was all cement with a shade tree. There is always a breeze and the fishing pier is inviting. The leash rules are not tightly enforced with some dogs off leash most of the time. There is no traffic noise and is close to stores and the Kemah boardwalk. We went with two other couples and would come back again. We enjoyed our stay. We camped at Baytown / Galveston Bay KOA in a Motorhome.

River View RV Park & Resort, Vidalia, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This park is nice and quiet, but across the river from Natchez, MS. We enjoyed the view of the river, but the wind blew hard every day of our stay. Staff was friendly. The sites are gravel and grass and are fairly level. We stayed a week and are coming back in December. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Poche's RV Park, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

The rate reflects Pass Port America. What a wonderful park. It is off the beaten path and is quiet and restful. Almost every site is waterfront and fishing is free. The club house is modern and large enough for a rally. We stay here often and would recommend it to everyone looking for peace and quiet. The management is awesome and very helpful. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Older park outside of town. Great place to stay when visiting Eureka Springs. Trolley comes right to the park. Spaces are wide open and with some tree shade, not crowded. Several club houses and open pavilion. Nice view of the hills. Management is very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again. Pool and laundry were very clean. We camped at Wanderlust RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bayou Wilderness RV Resort, Carencro, Louisiana

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The management was very nice and helpful and there is a gate for entry. That said, this is not a resort. The roads are in terrible shape and the club house is old, no restrooms and we had to clean it up before we could use it. We did not use the pool, it did look nice though. We will not stay here again. We camped at Bayou Wilderness RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park located close to everything. Super Wal-Mart within 5 miles. We had trouble with the 50 amp breaker, it was repaired within 5 minutes. The staff was great and very helpful with directions and gave us booklets of coupons for everything. We would stay here again. We camped at America's Best Campground in a Motorhome.

A+ Motel & RV Park, Sulphur, Louisiana

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here with our camping club. We were spread out through the park as close to the club house as we could get. There are many full timers next to the club house. They charge $75 extra per night for the use of the club house. This is a clean park with security cameras throughout with key pad entry to restrooms and laundry. Not sure if the club will come back. We camped at A+ Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.
