We just stopped in for one night on our way home. Check in was smooth and clerk was very nice. We used a 30 amp, full hook up pull through space. Nice place with great views of Mt. Hood.

Date of Stay:

It is a nicely maintained urban park. We had a 50 amp full hookup pull through space on the north side of the park. All hookups worked well, however wifi was pathetic! Showers were adequate but needed to be cleaned more often.

Very nice little park. We are in a "nose in" space so we are facing the river, great view! Very nice staff at check-in. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. Spaces are compacted gravel with paved roads. Some sites have concrete patios. Only negatives are no off leash dog area and the wifi is very poor. The park is only three miles from historic downtown Leavenworth and it is very quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Date of Stay:

I would describe this park as "average". It was convenient to where I was going but there was nothing special about it. Road noise was pretty bad, even late at night. The only real reason to stay here is it's as close to downtown Seattle as you can get.

This was a very nice park. Most notable is the room between spaces. We stayed in Line Camp and there was easily room for another rig between each site. I have never seen this much space before. The views within the park are incredible as is the views of the surrounding mountains. The park is located in close proximity to most of the Black Hills attractions. The only thing that would be nice to add would be a fenced dog run.

This is a nice park for a one night stop over. The roads and pads are gravel and had been freshly graded when we arrived. The drawbacks to this park are that it is within 100 yards of the I 90 freeway and the spaces are fairly close together. Again, good place for a one nighter. The staff was excellent.

This is a very nice park. Everything is neat and clean and they are making lots of improvements. This is also a very quiet park which was quite nice. Pistol Pete's BBQ offered good food at a reasonable price. The only criticism I would have is that the $52 rate for a pull-through without sewer connection seems a bit high. We would stay here again.

This park features paved roads and very level gravel sites. The park is located in town and right next to I-90, so if you're looking for the camping experience, this isn't it. It is however very convenient To Coeur D Alene and the surrounding communities. The amenities are nice except the that the WiFi is terrible! Also, freeway noise is rather annoying.

This is a nice park with paved roads and nice level sites. All hook ups work well. It is convenient on and off the freeway. Not much to do in the surrounding area. A plus is the fact that it is next door to a large RV dealer so if you need any parts, supplies, or repairs, you don't have to go very far.

Check In staff was friendly and efficient. The overall condition of the park is OK but nothing fancy. This park would be OK for a night but I wouldn't want to stay here for more than that.

DON'T STAY HERE!! I'm not sure which bothered me more, the fact that there are two registered sex offenders living amongst the permanent residents or the meth freak who almost ran me over in the driveway and then threatened to beat me because he didn't like the way I looked at him! I am serious, both of these things are absolutely true. By the way, when I say permanent residents, I mean it. Several of their RV's had moss and mold growing on them and appeared to be disintegrating. The only things this park has going for it is a good central location and two nice staffers. I would rate this a zero if this site would let me. I will NEVER stay here again.

The nightly rate reflects a premium site w/ patio, BBQ and nice patio furniture. This is a very nice park. It is easy to get in and out of, the utilities work very well and they have lots of amenities such as pool, hot tub, restaurant, ice cream shop, etc. A couple of areas that could use a little improvement are; it would be nice to see the roads paved (it was very dusty) and it would be nice to have someone escort you to your site since this is a very large park. The staff at the evening BBQ were very nice, the rest of the staff not so much. They could definitely improve their interpersonal skills a bit.

Butte KOA

Butte, Montana

Date of Stay:

This KOA is in a good location and the check in staff was very friendly and efficient. The parks utilities work well and they have a nice fenced dog area. This park was fine for our overnight stay but it could definitely use a face lift. The gravel roads and pads along with the sparse grass areas and rundown office are in definite need of modernizing. Again, the staff was very nice.

This is a nice clean park with paved roads, cement curbs and a combination of concrete and gravel sites, all of which are nice and level. The lady who handled my check in was very pleasant. The gentleman who led me to my space really went the extra mile by guiding me into a rather tight spot and then he came back and very neatly pruned a tree so as to not to interfere with my slide. This was especially noteworthy given the fact that it was 99 degrees out at the time he did it. We were just passing through, but we would definitely stay here again.

The young lady who handled my check in was very friendly and very informative. The park's brochure was very well done and contained a lot of good information. With the exception of the store which was very well stocked, I thought the park was in substandard condition. The roads aren't very good and the space we were put in wasn't even close to level. The park could really use a complete overhaul to make it more inviting.
